“Yeah. I remember when the demokkkrats actually believed in the Bill of Rights and the constitution. Weird huh? Like some alien life form has taken over. LOL!”

It’s funny how your average democrat voter will tell you how the REPUBLICAN party has moved SO FAR to the right that they’re destroying what this country was!

It’s laughable.

Equip my shotgun with semi-auto loading and a 24 round magazine and we’ll talk, Representative Ellison!

When the LEO's ditch their fully automatic assault rifles, gas masks, body armor and tanks then the people will think about it. What could possibly go wrong?

No 60rd drums made, but you know that.

That’s the premium 30rd drum I know about. They have it attached with a bumpski slide stock for those serious ‘get of my lawn’ moments.

“Certainly one of the chief guarantees of freedom under any government, no matter how popular and respected, is the right of citizens to keep and bear arms. This is not to say that firearms should not be very carefully used, and that definite safety rules of precaution should not be taught and enforced. But the right of citizens to bear arms is just one more guarantee against arbitrary government, one more safeguard against tyranny which now appears remote in America, but which historically has proved to be always possible”.

Senator Hubert H. Humphrey (D) Minn.

That was back when most RAT politicians still loved America, and had not yet learned the disaster that socialism in all its iterations wreaks upon its victims.

The left keeps saying that civilians armed with their pea shooters could never stand up against the military (which would be unlawful use of the military in any case). Ask the Russian afghan vets about those backwards civilians. Of course the cia was helping those civilians. Us, not so much.

Give me a 30-60 round magazine and a flawlessly operating feed system and I might consider it.

Awesome gun!

There ARE 60 round magazines, just not in 12 gauge. I happen to have a 60 round Surefire 223 magazine. Holds 60 rounds.

Of course there are for carbines. The Russian have a quad stack for the 74 in 5.45x39. I have a 75 round drum in 7.62x39.

I have the drum also. The surefire is a single magazine that feeds all 60 rounds without a changeover. It is triple bunked at the bottom but singles out where the mag inserts into the AR-15.

My whole point in this is that of course I’d allow them to get rid of those dreaded ARs and AKs with their 30 round magazines IF there was a comparable capability with a semi-auto shotgun that where ‘they’ ceded “shotguns are okay”.

I was being sarcastic, IOW

That rotary 30’06 looks like an early version Garand I have a picture of in one of my GARAND books.

“I was being sarcastic, IOW”

I know. I was just having fun with Ellison’s stupidity on firearms. He reminded me of double-barrel Joe. The shotgun has been in the military longer than any of those scary black guns and still the most effective weapon for HD.

You and I both know they are just trying to ban incrementally. They will start with the AR and AK platform because they are evil (and say this is the only ban, all other guns are okay). Then they will move to all semi-autos, then bolts, then single shots.

It's a Johnson semi-auto, a contender for the job the M1 Garand got.
