The University of Michigan would not explain how it is responding to death threats and racial epithets that were reportedly issued by pro-Palestinian activists at students who oppose a resolution to divest from Israel.
University of Michigan police were first contacted last week after two pro-Palestinian activists shouted threats of violence at a student who refused to support their boycott initiative during a sit-in at the student governments headquarters.
The Washington Free Beacon has further learned that the pro-Israel student received death threats and that others have allegedly been called kikes and dirty Jews by backers of the virulently anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, which aims to delegitimize the Jewish state through economic means.
The atmosphere of intimidation and violence could leave the University of Michigan vulnerable to legal action and political retribution on a national scale, according to multiple sources in Washington, D.C. and elsewhere who are monitoring the situation.
Kenneth Marcus, a former staff director at the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, told the Free Beacon that he has contacted high-level university officials to discuss the situation but that these calls have yet to be returned.

Like is a word I have never heard uttered in real life
But call a Pal a dirty rag head and watch the _resident call for a grand jury.
After WW2 there were groups of Jews that went around all over Europe taking care of Nazis that had not been caught.Saw the interview with some of those still alive. They are not people you want to mess with.
unwanted Palestinian immigrants called Jews Kikes?
Damn sand niggers ....to Hell with them all .
I hope one day this nation will rise up as one and rid ourselves of these vermin
I was called a Kike growing up...In Michigan
in my neighborhood....kids were said to be either kikes or greasers
a not particulary bright bunch of kids thought that one up...
I remember something about ropers vs skaters but I was a loner and didn’t care
Nothing short of expulsion for these terrorists is acceptable.
I couldnt figure out how kids who didnt have hair long enough to grease...could be greasers...
Racism is OK if it serves a liberal agenda...
Nothing to see here.
The university has been under fire from campus activists and others since at least December when it was accused of taking inadequate action after pro-Palestinian activists posted 1,500 anti-Israel eviction notices on the doors of pro-Israel students and Jews. The campaign appears to be coordinated by national and international groups hostile to Israel, as well as by University of Michigan groups.
Should be national news.
Good point, Nachum.
Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan are less than one hour away from the largest concentration of Palestinians outside the Middle East.
lol
I was proud to be called a kike.
On my neighborhood the kike vs greaser “issue” was something of a class distinction deal... and very likely,,.....drawn along political lines OF YA KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!
I guess, in a way.
It seems that George Rockwell still has following in Michigan.
Other than that, I've had a couple of men who wouldn't date me allegedly because of my Jewish background or (more likely) because of my size (I'm a 6-footer and big too); but no one else has ever called me nasty names like that.
Before that, I had had a logic professor at a community college who happened to be Armenian, but I had no reason to suspect I would dislike living in occupied territory, so to speak.
When I'd go into fast-food restaurants or grocery stores in that town, they'd take my money but were decidedly unfriendly about it; in fact, I got hostile stares from at least some of them.
When I was a child in the 1950s I lived near a gated NJ community about 25 miles from New York City. It was built on a hill called Kikeout Mt. (some pronounced it Kakout Mt. My father told me that before WWII it had been the site of a German-American Bund camp. I believe that Bund camps were Nazi meeting camps, but perhaps someone here knows more.
