Ten years ago, the media in Louisville, Ky., could have gotten away with reporting this weekends events this way: A group of 10 roving teens got into a fight with two girls then it happened a few more times over two hours.
But now, less than 24 hours after a mob of 30 black people roamed through the citys downtown Saturday, beating, laughing, destroying property, sending three seriously hurt people to the hospital and walking away laughing, outraged citizens in Louisville are asking two questions: Why is black mob violence such a problem? And when is local media going to start telling the truth about it?

The community was organized.
Five’s a damn good average, don’t get greedy.
; )
There are at least two shopping malls in this metro area that shut down because of this sort of craziness. The Country Club Plaza is an icon in KC. I live far enough out in the suburbs and haven’t been to the Plaza at night in decades but it will be interesting to watch. And btw, our suburbs are diverse if that matters to you. I can hear four or five languages at our favorite grocery store on Sunday morning and pretty much every shade of skin color. Same at my Church.
I read an article about Saturdays problems just today (I live in KY, btw). The interesting thing about the article was that the race of the “teens” was never mentioned.
This is pathetic. It’s like I’m living in a fictional book where the story is lousy because the characters don’t act like real people would act. I want to know the race, sex, age and hometown of who did it.
My wife and I are both going for our CCW and already have the pistols. We WILL carry when we go to Louisville and Waterfront park. I will NOT be intimidated by these thugs and am fully prepared to use deadly force to protect my wife. And no, I’m not talking about the kneecap.
I wonder what color the police on site were? Just to help flesh out the picture.
perfect reason for stand your ground laws.
Shoot about 5 of these vermin in one attempted beat down and maybe the message gets sent.
Oh yeah, and dont shoot to wound.
An armed society is a polite society.
This country would have Ben different if the Bernhardt Goetz incident happened in Texas.
Even worse, people are beginning to accept that violent world as "normal", and those of us who cling to better, vanishing times are the oddballs. The freaks. The monsters.
People can react in all sorts of ways to the social norms being flipped. Just sayin'.
“The result of inner city degeneration”
And mass transport.
An armed society is a polite society, so the citizens of Louisville must not be armed, and why is that?
Bingo!

There was a similar indecent in Greensboro, NC last year. A couple hundred of them, or some crazy amount like that. It was kept quiet even in the local media. Didn’t receive much national media attention at all.
If course if it did come to that you could probably expect the full George Zimmerman treatment, with your FR posts as the prosecutor's exhibit #1.
Kinda makes you wonder how they’re going to act once the scourge of the obama cancer is out of the White House and becomes an unpleasant memory.

Mercer County is still a swell place. Perryville remains idyllic. Danville is quite nice, as is Lawrenceburg. Salvisa and ‘Ver-sales,’ oh I could live around in there. Very comfortable in Lexington, too. Good old places. Louisville has become. . . yucky.
