This week I read that Jane Fonda is being honored by the USC School for Dramatic Arts.
"The Robert Redford Award for Engaged Artists honors an individual who has used his or her fame to significantly bolster public awareness of important social issues," Madeline Puzo, dean of the USC School of Dramatic Arts, said in a statement Monday morning."It is our hope that this award will inspire students to be socially engaged in their lives and through their art."
I happened across that information online. It made me think back on the many ways in which Fonda has been honored over the years, and the many blessings she has enjoyed thanks to this country, and those who fight for it.
Under Article III, Section 3, of the Constitution, any person who levies war against the United States or adheres to its enemies by giving them Aid and Comfort has committed treason within the meaning of the Constitution. The term aid and comfort refers to any act that manifests a betrayal of allegiance to the United States, such as furnishing enemies with arms, troops, transportation, shelter, or classified information. If a subversive act has any tendency to weaken the power of the United States to attack or resist its enemies, aid and comfort has been given.
How can we yet, and to this day, still not apply that definition to Jane Fonda?

has she done something good since the VN war, perhaps?
(I suppose her exercise tapes are good for people, but they look like a profit enterprise and not charity work?)
ps: universities can sometimes give out awards in order to obtain donations or favors from, or just to ingratiate themselves with, the recipients
I agree she’s used her fame to bring attention to significant social issues
except she’s been on the wrong end of the stick on every single one
Who’s going to be beaten to death to celebrate this award?
She has the blood of two million Cambodians on her hands.
Hanoi Jane should be honored for being the best urinal target in history.
Cucking Funt, she is.
Cambodians are your concern? At least they were fighting and dying for their own country. US Troops had no business there- until they did.
She is a traitor and should be hung on a meat hook til adios.
That old mass of sagging commie teat matter won’t be around much longer. We’ll be making popcorn soon enough.
Oh good Lord please help me. Seriously?
Just another liberal receiving an award designed by liberals to honor liberals for doing something of which other liberals can be proud.
No matter because she is still known to 90% of us just what a POS she is & she knows it.
I must have missed something. What good thing did she do?
She was such a good little air defense gunner...
RR go figure!
Bonnie Parker has a better rep than the traitor B!
Well, since she is still breathing, I would say none.
Yeah, she helped improve the Aim in the Veteran’s Post Men’s Room throughout the country. Her picture in the urinals worked wonders.
