Lt. Gen. McInerney Says MH370 Is In Pakistan – ‘I Got A Source That Confirmed It Yesterday’ (Video)
Counterjihadreport.com ^ | March 22, 2014 | Jim Hoft

“LIGNET put out a report, substantiated yesterday, that there sources got their information from Boeing sources, which is covert. Not that they got their information from the Boeing Company because they’re involved in the investigation, that the airplane was in Pakistan. That was confirmed by LIGNET on Monday and I got another source at LIGNET that confirmed it yesterday… I do believe that those people in Pakistan, in the ISI, those people who knew where Osama Bin Laden was and didn’t tell us. I believe those same elements could be involved with getting that airplane into a Pakistan air force base.”

Could the Iranians be interested in whatever cargo the plane was carrying?

I doubt it. How do the Pakis and/orIranians benefit from hiding a 777 full of Chinese nationals?

"This isn't some comic book character."

I have tremendous respect for McInerney. Career combat aviators like him are the most sober-minded, serious and realistic people I know.

Frankly, and for all our sakes, I hope he's nuts.

If what he claims turns out to be true, then we're in a world of trouble.

This op definitely cost a tiny fraction of that.

Then why not steal a 747 cargo plane? Wouldn't that be a whole lot easier?

The world is looking for the plane in the Indian Ocean, and will be for the next few days so.

Meanwhile, world leaders will be meeting in The Hague.

The plane if in Pakistan could be readied for a terrorist attack on such a target of opportunity.

If the passengers are still alive, they could be used as pawns, to delay stopping, or intercepting, such a flight.

This plane must be located quickly.

The general has also said that Boeing sources know the plane is in Pakistan. They would only know that if the plane comms were turned on for landing assistance, and the planes sent out the wheels down message.

Also he has said there are communications that occurred between the plane and the ground, and that we have them.

The general has been very steady in his assertions and the only one to do so. The Israelis are taking no chances. And it is clear, with the steady drip of misinformation, there is more that is known by multiple governments that we are not being told.

Along with Pakistan being anything but an ally, trying to cozy up with them puts us on the wrong side with India, which we should be cultivating as a close ally.

For those who have not watched the clips these are from Wed and Thursday. I have said on several threads that I believe the General is speaking for all of the good people at DOD and CIA that are frustrated with the political appointees who won’t make the hard decisions. There is a chance he is being used but I trust he has verified this information, this is not his first rodeo. Time will tell.

You have Boeing confused with the CIA and so does the General.

Boeing sources put its plane in the waters off Australia.

The navies of 14 nations believe those Boeing sources enough to commit resources down there looking for it.

I’ll go with their Boeing sources.

A hijacked 777 being hidden in Pakistan has SPECTRE written all over it and there is only one man for the job.

from what I know....all major naval warships, have aircraft detection radar, for defense, rather than air traffic control...be the ships US, China, or Russian, surely the aircraft would have been detected...assuming it flew over the Indian Ocean

Why steal a Boeing 777 when anyone with the resources to steal it could go out and buy one without attracting all this attention?

Exactly -- or lease an old one like this one.

A good idea, but it poses a couple of questions:

What military ships were in the Indian Ocean?

How does the military determine whether an aircraft is civilian or enemy military?

I will admit that they should be suspicious of any high speed target not displaying a transponder code, but unless the aircraft is on a course directly toward the ship, I doubt they pay any attention to it.

Do all navies of the world record video of all radar traffic?

“Think! If they hijacked it to Pakistan what has happened to the 239 passengers for the last 17 days? Did they murder them? Holding them for ransom?”

Ok, I accept your offer. I’m thinking. If this plane was indeed high jacked, then we are talking about people with the same mind-set as the 9/11 high jackers. So, how hard would it be for these terrorists to kill the passengers if they have no further use for them? I submit, not hard at all. Concerning the current search area; there is no hard data supporting this endeavor. The logic is based upon the premise that had the plane taken a more north westerly route it would have been picked up on “somebody’s” radar. That’s pretty subjective if you ask me. But, being subjective, I would hazard a guess that prior to flt 370 going missing a..... Well, at night a un identified Boeing 777 could easily fly across the region without causing a stir, probably happens often enough that it doesn’t cause any concern. Would any of these countries step up and acknowledge that such a breakdown in their national security had occurred? Are you kidding me? No way! Btw, the current flurry of sightings down in the Southern Indian Ocean will turn to nothing. And, then hopefully other possibilities will be (publically) considered - that include the possibility that the plane landed successfully. Your turn, think about it :)

You had to go all the way back to Babylon to find a censorious regime?

a) LIGNET is a small group of rightwing careerists from the intelligence community looking to make a splash. Like anybody in the diplomatic or intelligence community, their life’s work has been all about double crosses and triple crosses, subterfuge and working the system in service to an agenda. The intelligence product itself is often secondary. On the website, LIGNET analysts use cagey terminology that’s purely speculative. They never say they themselves believe the plane is in Pakistan.

b) The post on top of the thread is not from LIGNET, but from a far less reliable site called “counterjihadreport.” The author is demonstrably incapable of correct grammar and spelling. That’s merely an irritant, not a major sin. What is a major sin, however, is the author’s claim that LIGNET “substantiated” and “confirmed” that the plane is in Pakistan, but no evidence of the substantiation or confirmation is provided. The claims are strictly amateur hour.

The post is pabulum for children. If, Mr Editor-Surveyor, you believe that pabulum should have full rights of discussion on Free Republic, then, by all means, have at it. And enjoy your second childhood.

I believe the intention was to reload the 200 passengers along with heavy explosives and fly it at Isreal, putting them in a position of shooting down a loaded plane full of people

I hope I did this correctly. It is a 45 minute documentary of Helios Flight 522.

It answers the question of what happened to the passengers at 45K. They were out of oxygen, but still technically alive. When this plane crashed all of these passengers were alive, but not functioning.

The General’s insistence that the plane is in Pak hands only fuels Israel to attack the nuc facilities. That may be what bambi wants.

Then he can step in and play the peacemaker. Remember, the Antichrist comes as a peacemaker.
