20 years on Death Row, = NO JUSTICE

Behind bars for over 2 decades, and counting, is far more than most murderers get. The average is around 8 years, I think. I'm not sure you can say "NO" justice in that case. You want blood, and understandably so, but if every emotional family member of a victim was granted that wish when and how they demanded it, we'd have to build more execution chambers than Starbucks has stores.

(Sorry to be analytical when you are emotional.)

Justice is what the jury decides. We victims have to live with it. In this case 2 juries handed down the DP. Hierarchical counting, Nikki’s death was the charge, the aggravating charge was her rape.

Hierarchical counting is the government’s fuzzy math for crime. Person is kidnapped, robbed, raped, murdered. ONLY the MURDER counts, rest are flushed down the toilet.

20 yrs on death row, does not equal the deserved justice that was handed down.

To top it off victims have to pay TAXES to imprison the criminals who harmed them.

After 20 yrs you loose the emotional, you just want what was PROMISED! What is deserved!

We are not talking gang bang stuff, this is a child raped and strangled to death.

When justice is not followed through, you send the message to criminals they can get away with it. Same as letting them out early for over crowding.

Well build some prisons in the middle of Death Valley and make sure it is a week’s walk from water. And Stack their butts in it.

There are just some animals you have to remove from society. His death will be painless Nikki’s was not.

I’m not her mom, just her mom’s friend. Nikki was a trusting, loving child.

And you want her killer/rapist to just sit in prison? You are part of the problem of DO GOODERS who ‘feel’ for the criminal more than the victim. Which is why we have glamor slammers, instead of real prisons where inmates worked, served their full time.

When criminals are let out early this is what you get MORE CRIME at a higher rate than before they went to prison.

These prisoners were on probation or parole from a previous crime. 6,800 people would NOT have been murdered. 5,500 would not have been raped. Had justice been fulfilled.

Probation & Parolee’s

This is an older study as there are no newer ones, this gives you a big idea of just how many additional early release of criminals to parole and probation cause. n 1991, 45% of State prisoners were persons who, at the time they
committed their offense, were under conditional supervision in the community—either on probation or on parole. Their original crimes amounted to 25,900. They then committed an additional 74,400 new crimes. The NEW crimes FAR out ceded their REPEAT CRIMES. Total 100,300 crimes this is JUST 45% of the parole and probation population.

The NEW crimes FAR out ceded their REPEAT CRIMES. Imagine the # if they counted all the crimes. Instead of Hierarchical counting them. And this study was 100% not 45%.

Based on the offense that brought them to prison, the 162,000 probation violators committed at least 6,400 murders, 7,400 rapes, 10,400 assaults, and 17,000 robberies, while under supervision in the community an average of 17 months.

Based on the offense that brought parolees back to prison, these 156,000 offenders committed at least 6,800 murders, 5,500 rapes, 8,800 assaults, and 22,500 robberies, while under supervision in the community an average of 13 months.

Criminals travel, you could be the next victim, or some one you love!
