The Soviet Film Commission determined to “colonize” Hollywood in 1924 and by 1930 the trades there were rancid with communist leadership. I don’t think there has been a day since that the industry wasn’t deeply leftist at its core.
Across the span of decades some of the most accomplished films were either crafted by communists or openly sought a communist theme and message. I’m not even gonna attempt a listing except to say that my favorite is The Maltese Falcon, an absolutely awesome work of subtle Bolshevik propaganda.

True, but back in the early days it was subtle while in the 80’s they became full blown anti-American billboards. Movies like China Syndrome which were made to destroy industries and promote the agenda have destroyed any enjoyment they once were.
