Just think of how many times our heavenly "Dad" is below us; seeing the next step perfectly, even when we are blind to the future. There are times when we simply have to trust God to not let us fall. The more we learn to depend on God the easier it gets to place our lives into those loving hands with confidence.
Thought this might be something you could use today. :-)
Thanks Ma, our God is an Awesome God, He will hold us up if we ask. ((HUGS)))
Shavua Tov.
Wishing all our Jewish troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
a peaceful and prosperous week.
He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.
Read: Proverbs 6:16-19
The language of Proverbs 6:16-19 is strong. In the citing of seven things the Lord hates, sowing discord among brethren makes the list. The reason for naming this sin is that it spoils the unity that Christ desires for His followers (John 17:21-22).
Those who sow discord may not initially set out to create divisions. They may be preoccupied instead with their personal needs or the interests of a group they belong to (James 4:1-10). Consider how Lots herdsmen argued with those of Abraham (Gen. 13:1-18); Christs disciples argued about personal preeminence (Luke 9:46); and divisive groups in the church at Corinth elevated party factions above the unity of the Spirit (1 Cor. 3:1-7).
So what is the best way to promote unity? It begins with the transformation of the heart. When we adopt the mind of Christ, we develop an attitude of humility and we focus on service toward others (Phil. 2:5-11). Only in Him can we access the power to look out not only for [our] own interests, but also for the interests of others (v.4). Soon the needs and hopes of others become more important to us than our own.
With growing bonds of love among us, we find discord replaced with joy and unity (see Ps. 133:1).
God Bless our military men and women who have given their all.
Thanks, unique.
Lord Jesus, because You are the Truth, reveal to us Christians any part of our lives that is untrue. Make known to us any insincerity in thought, word, or deed, for it is insincerity that so often injures our testimony to our countrymen and to the world. We dont act because our heart is distracted. Others dont respond because they sense divided loyalty in us. Keep us from causing others to stumble. Guide us so that our lives truly center on You. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
