Retired Lt. General Thomas McInerney was on America’s News HQ today to once again discuss his theory that missing flight MH370 flew to Pakistan. McInerney and LIGNET Intel Group still believe the plane flew to Pakistan. paki flight

Langley Intelligence Group Intel Group released a second report Friday on the missing plane.

As the search for Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 drags on without a trace of wreckage at sea, the likelihood of foul play looms larger. One country keeps rising to the top of the list of suspects: Pakistan.

Ten days after the flight vanished, LIGNET learned that engineers at Boeing, the plane’s manufacturer, believed the missing aircraft was on the ground in Pakistan. For several reasons, including al-Qaeda’s presence there, historical attack patterns, corruption, weakness and terrorist sympathies at the highest levels inside Pakistan, that hunch may be right.

Lt. Gen. McInerney discussed why the plane flew to Pakistan.

“LIGNET put out a report, substantiated yesterday, that there sources got their information from Boeing sources, which is covert. Not that they got their information from the Boeing Company because they’re involved in the investigation, that the airplane was in Pakistan. That was confirmed by LIGNET on Monday and I got another source at LIGNET that confirmed it yesterday… I do believe that those people in Pakistan, in the ISI, those people who knew where Osama Bin Laden was and didn’t tell us. I believe those same elements could be involved with getting that airplane into a Pakistan air force base.”

It's Boeing engineers who gave us the satellite engine ping arcs that don't put that plane anywhere near Pakistan. So Lignet is FOS.

Actually I believe it was Inmarsat, a UK company, that provided that data.

“I hope so and that the passengers are safe. In a way this would be the best outcome.”

Huh? If it’s there the passengers are likely dead or in prison, and the plane will get packed with WMD and sent over here!

Can somebody please provide an answer for me? When was the jet first reported missing and by whom? I cannot recall ever hearing this. Did the Beijing tower call Kuala Lumpur? If so, when? Was it after the plane simply failed to show up for it’s scheduled arrival? Was it a baggage crew on the tarmac that got tired of waiting for the plane to show up?

No reason why you hijack a plane to reprint and later use as a flying bomb and then leave the passengers alive. If this was my plan I would have killed them and made the bodies disappear. Ransome doesn’t make sense since even Pakistan couldn’t survive that heat and stupidity. I suspect a hijacking of some sort with the idea of suicide. That’s why it seems more likely one of the pilots was involved.

Yeah, after two weeks I don’t know how much would be left bobbing along the surface to be scene. Considering currents, water-logging, forceful seas. Pretty tough part of the world down there.

As for Pak’s motivation in this I see zero, zip, zilch, nada, less than none, and, less than zero reason for that. Pakistan is a major customer for Chinese military equipment and they enjoy a rosy relationship. It gains them nothing to steal an airplane full of Chinese nationals and hold them hostage for any length of time.

And “likely” meaning what is the most probably outcome based upon what real evidence exists indicates this thing is simply in the water somewhere.

>>>I smell Obama all over this crap

Haven't read all the comments but hopefully someone addressed this before I did here.

IF its in Pakistan...admitting it publicly would be the absolute WORST thing we could do.

If its there...but we don't know exactly where yet....WHY would you say so? It's called OPSEC. 80% of all intel used by terrorists is open source (OSINT).

If its there....the best move that Obama COULD make would be to say its in the southern Indian Ocean until we can launch an op using our SPECOPS capabilities.

Some of you seem to think its wrong to hide this....when in fact it would be the best thing we could do. It buys time. The last thing we want is to let the terrorists know we are on to them. That would mean they might speed up their use of this aircraft and we would miss the window.

By continuing to say in the media we know its south....that makes them take their time and we may have time to stop it before it happens.

Its really BAD OPSEC on the part of LTG McInerney to be saying this. If he DOES know this for sure...he should be going along with the southern Indian Ocean narrative for the good of the country.

This would require a LOT of high-level complicity on the part of a number of different agencies.

Now, so far as getting to Pakistan, the ocean route in over the Arabian Sea after skirting south of India is at the very limits of possibility. So far as the passengers may have been concerned, they are simply collateral damage, and very likely, the steep climb to 45,000 feet, well above the operational ceiling of the airplane, may have resulted in a mass asphyxiation of the passengers and most of the crew. The pilot, or pilots, would have had on supplementary oxygen, and been unaffected, or much less affected, which may explain the serious flight pattern deviations before the aircraft disappeared from observation altogether.

First, the Malaysian air defense tracking system HAD to know, as after the turn to the southwest heading, it would have re-crossed Malaysian air space. Why was an unidentifiable aircraft allowed to continue if not with prior advice of its presence made known to the pilots who would have responded?

Then, once out over the open ocean, did the plane have sufficient fuel to skirt south of India, or was there also elements within the India defense perimeter who would turn a blind eye? This seems highly unlikely, considering the extended belligerence between Pakistan and India. So the plane may have been carrying a more than normal fuel load when it departed Kuala Lumpur, something that would have to have had very high level of complicity. Airliners carry very little more fuel than they absolutely need to complete a specific leg of a flight, unless there are a number of intermediary stops.

Meanwhile, the Pakistanis would have gained access to a most excellent weapons delivery system, all with a highly sophisticated control mechanism - a human pilot motivated to perform a suicide mission.

There is no good outcome in all this.

Reading between the lines I read this as an educated guess.

Any evidence at all?

He said 3 days ago that he would have proof in two days. Now he still doesn’t have proof.

I would not completely dismiss what he is saying but I think it is just an educated guess by now.

BTW, the distance to Iran or Pakistan is not significantly different that to Beijing. The plane could have made it with no trouble.

http://theaviationist.com/2014/03/20/mh370-total-recap/

The link above contains the only map I’ve seen that shows the results of the pings at 5:11, 6:11, and 7:11, as well as the originally reported 8:11 one.

If one looks at the Pakistan area on the map, the plane would have had to been flying away from Pakistan from 7:11 to 8:11, making it unlikely for it to have made it back to Pakistan in time to land the plane.

However, if, as I’ve speculated elsewhere, the pilot intended to circle back toward Malaysia and drop the plane on a government building in a fit of political rage, that route would easily fit within the parameters of the four pings.

He could have continued west for a bit, and then circled back south and then east, toward Malaysia from the south, and easily have been located on all four ping lines throughout that route. I suspect he either ran short of fuel, or more likely, came to his senses after killing all the passengers, and ditched the plane deep in the ocean where we might never find it.

Note that the map also includes ocean depths, almost 2 miles deep south of Singapore where I suspect he ditched the plane. On the other hand, if he ran out of fuel short of his intended target, have they searched the Java Sea south of Malaysia yet?

That’s correct and they are contracted out by Boeing because it’s Boeing engines that do the pinging and send the data.

I've been saying they had nuke suitcases on board. I see no problem in burying the plane along with the "exterminated" passengers. Iraq had a fleet of planes buried.

Then it's a matter of how many involved, transportation and to where?

I'd say 8. Four were on board and four at the landing point. They all went separate ways...skipping via boat and plane.

Like it or not...anyone can land a boat on our shores.

There was a report that India new about an airplane that “shadowed” another across India that night.

The pilot of the shadowing airplane could just listen to traffic control center and copy a clearance given to a different airplane and follow a thousand feet below and slightly behind the legitimate craft.

It is possible that controllers could notice a skin track on the shadowing airplane but really could not do anything about it because it would be unidentified and would be gone before an interceptor could get there to check it out.

There is no penalty for being an idiot in America. Which is why everyone and his aunt Hazel has a theory. When it’s all over, they won’t apologize, they won’t eat crow, they’ll move on to the next thing, with their “I am certain”, “I’m sure”, “It’s obvious”, etc.
