Pretty sure Freescale has some private jets available for use.
Modern day philadelphia experiment?
This was actually close to my initial theory. The whole thing smells like electronic warfare air assets were involved and that means nations were involved. I still wouldn’t assume that it wasn’t in the hands of terrorists somewhere and being prepped with a WMD and I definitely wouldn’t assume that it crashed even though it is certainly possible. It’s just prudent to not assume such thing IMO.
The only way you can do this is to redirect the radar signal in a direction that is not the same as the impinging signal OR, OR you can send back an equal strength signal in the same direction that is 180 degrees out of phase with the returning signal. You cannot 'reduce' the actual reflected signal without absorbing or redirecting it.
Its reported that the Captain made a cell phone call just before departure. Too whom? Strikes me as a good idea to check all calls made to foreign countries around midnight. See if any are “Unexpected” countries and think about searching there. It could be that it was his way to give a heads up to the co conspirators. Give inspector Clouseau the week off and get into real investigative work. That airplane was swiped for a reason and it wasn’t to give it a water bath.
Thoughts?
I think this is what he was alluding to.
OK, but where is the airplane?
NONE of the emergency beacons or crash event transmitters on this aircraft have sounded. Conclusion? It didn’t crash!
During the 1973 war, Israel went deep into Egyptian territory and captured - intact - a Soviet-supplied missile defense radar installation and carried the whole thing back into Israel. It was the USSR’s latest technology at the time.
It could have been Klingons with a cloaking device in the cargo hold.
Occam’s Razor. The plane suffered a major failure and crashed into the ocean.
I’m disappointed that Elvis and his alien baby haven’t yet put in an appearance. But I’m certain if we give it another week, they will.
...they had the intellectual property of an open patent. In other word[s], a patent had been applied for, but yet -— not yet granted. And the ownership of that patent was 20%, 20%, 20%, 20% and 20% for the U.S. Corporation named Freescale. And until that patent is granted, there is no ownership
WEll I’m pretty sure that plane is sitting somewhere in a rogue nation right now but which one? I’m going to go with Gen McInerny’s theory for now.
Which ocean is the disinformation team looking in today? :-)
There’s more to stealth than low RCS. There’s also securing the radiation emissions (from communications & airborne RADAR) and Infrared energy from the engines.
Even if this technology works as advertised — and it just might — you still need to build the other aspects of stealth into you modern aircraft. The example of retrofitting a “lumbering B-52” probably isn’t viable.
If they were US / Chinese engineers seems to narrow the field as who’s behind this
RE: Patents (who cares) - Don’t think any country cares if they can gain the technology.
Also can’t buy in to the thought that China, US, Isreal, U.K. Russia don’t already know where the plane is but is more an issue of what or how to resolve at this point.
And if any intelligence agency knew the facts I doubt the 1st place they’d call would be the media.
This is absolute BS.
I have reviewed the patent in question and it has nothing to do with EW at all.
Freescale, (old Motorola Semi) makes parts, “electronic jelly beans”,not whole systems as Motorola still does. These guys are process people, very valuable, but not systems people. There is a world of difference.
Even if they were RF guys they would know only make how to make the parts and have little or no idea of how to create a system beyond a general EE.
In my Professional Opinion, (I do this for a living), the patent in question is valuable, but I would only place its value at around 3M for equity purposes. A maximum of 10M absolute tops.
Freescale ... the remnants of the old Motorola ...until management screwed the company by moving Ops to .... China
