Westboro church founder Fred Phelps dies

Fred Phelps -- the founding pastor of a Kansas church known for its virulently anti-gay protests at public events, including military funerals -- has died, the church said Thursday.
The 84-year-old died of natural causes at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to church spokesman Steve Drain.

Fred Phelps, known for his ties to the Democrat Party, was an agitator who set out to demonize Christian opposition to the homosexual agenda.
But then, CNN was founded by known anti-Catholic Red Ted Turner.

Curiously, that photo of Phelps and his wife next to Al and Tipper Gore was strangely absent from the CNN obit. And no mention of his long-time political affiliation, either.

The Westboro Baptist nonchurch is and was a democrat institution to inspire contempt for both the Church in general and conservative views on sexuality in specific.
This is true historically and time will bear it out.
