..after Georgia implemented its voter-ID law in 2007, which was upheld in court, the state saw an increase in minority voter participation in the next two election cycles...

Among the reasons for the left to fight voter ID laws hides in the above excerpt. This is something I have been preaching this for years. Most of the vote fraud takes place in the minority communities where everyone assumes a 98%+ democrat voting block. When you can accurately count votes from these communities, it's never close to the 90%+ range. But those 'errors' are enough to throw close elections.

Well said...0bama and his Marxist/leftist Rats may have finally gone too far with this obamacare fiasco, there’s indications of backlash already.

They don’t oppose ID laws “in the name of” race.

They oppose anti-votefraud laws “with the excuse of” race.

Will you be so kind as to elaborate? Are you saying that it's closer to, say, 80-20?

That’s an excellent point, I can’t imagine any area having a voting block of 95% or so for either candidate but of course the majority will be making the most noise. They’ll in all probability be doing the majority of the vote counting too.

Exactly! I haven’t heard any “minorities” complaining.

With pleasure...

We all think that almost ALL black folks are going to go in there and pull the level for a democrat because we’ve all been trained, we all want the government goodies, and that’s what the results/exit polls all show, right?

Well, I never believe exit polls anyway, but that’s a different matter.

The largest employer of blacks in America is government (local, county, state, federal). As a rule, most government employees (race not withstanding) vote to maintain or grow government - meaning democrat. Hence for that reason, you’re going to have a majority black voting democrat in any election.

I just explained about 65%-35%. With that said, let’s look at a few of our social issues of the day.

Abortion: #1 killer of blacks in America (ahead of gang-bangers)

2nd Amendment: The last case that went to the Supremes on the issue was by a black man wanting to protect himself in Chicago. Talk to the folks in Detroit about disarming and see what they’ll say to you.

Sodomy: strongest opposition comes from the black community

Immigration: Amnesty is seen as a loss of political power to many black folks.

Education: Blacks are the lead proponents of charter schools and/or school vouchers - a conservative cause that is always stonewalled by democrats.

Side note: and large number of black pastors have petitions that AG Eric Holder by impeached/removed from office - for not doing his job upholding laws.

These are just some. Now, there are some on this site that have convinced themselves that 98%+ of black folks pull the level one way. They prime reason they believe this is the media constantly pounding it in their heads, and since everyone has decided that the half-black occupant at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is in fact all black, he gets their un-yielding support. But I propose to you that if Obama promise d to do during his campaign(s) what he is doing now, he would not get that high percentage in the black community.

So where does the high number come from?

Short answer: Vote Fraud.

No, I am not saying the blacks are committing all the vote fraud, but I suspect the power brokers (of all races are). You see, since you’re convinced that all blacks are going to vote the same way, if I can prevent anyone from showing id in the inner cities, I can have a woman in Detroit vote 4 times after her death, groups in Ohio, Florida and Wisconsin who cant even speak English be on record voting, even though they can’t even tell you where the polling place was.

Get the picture? By preventing the need for ID at a voting place, toss in a few absentee ballots, and sprinkle in some early votes from a HP copier for good measure, and I can turn a 65-35 majority in to 90-10, or in some cases (2012 election) 110% voting for one candidate. After all, no republican ever asked for a recount from these districts.

It’s enough to throw an election.

As a black man, I am never more insulted than when I hear Voter ID is racists because minorities with no ID will be shunned from the polling place.

You can’t get a job (or in some cases HOLD a job), or get government assistance without proper ID. Selective Service is mandatory and that itself can be considered valid ID. The only way a felon (who can’t vote by law) can be prevented is by having the voter present the proper ID.

When the U.S. used to send monitors to watch 3rd world elections, among the things they focused on was proper ID being shown at the polling place. Now, look at us.

I’ll summarize with this: the only way the powers that be can prevent a GOP/tea party majority in both houses of congress this November is the say way this treasonous SOB got re-elected:

Vote Fraud.

Good luck keeping things on the level this year.

After working at Chick-fil-A through high school and into college, my youngest daughter gave notice (on good terms) and recently took a job as a waitress at a popular local restaurant that serves wine and beer.

She's not yet 21, so she had to get a permit to be a server.

I accompanied her to the county permit office. There, she was required to present a photo drivers' license or a government-issued photo ID.

In addition, because it was her first permit as a server of alcoholic beverages, she had to present a second ID, such as a military ID card, a passport, an original birth certificate, green card, or an another acceptable ID.

Waiting for her certificate, we noticed that dancers (strippers) at adult entertainment clubs needed a permit; bouncers at adult entertainment clubs needed a permit; workers at nail salons needed permits; escorts (prostitutes who advertise) needed a permit; door-to-door salesmen needed a permit; and others.

They all needed photo IDs, and a second ID like a passport if it was their first permit for that particular type of work.

So, to be a hooker, or stripper, or to give pedicures you need a photo ID.

Requiring one to vote is apparently discriminatory.

Thanks for relating that, it’s most eye opening.

Contrast that with the top law enforcement officer in the country suing states because they have the audacity to require proof of citizenship when registering to vote and photo ID when voting.

We have become or at least are becoming a third world nation with the likes of a Hugo Chavez running the country and a front Congress supporting him.

Thank you for your excellent and encouraging explanation.

I absolutely reject the idea that "most Americans are idiots. They voted for these clowns!" Yet that is the clarion call of much of conservatism -- contempt for the majority of their compatriots! Talk about stupid -- when the very fact that vote fraud/manipulation exists as blatantly as it does CONFIRMS that we outnumber them. If we didn't, they wouldn't have to cheat! They'd lose!

You know, as big a challenge as any facing America right now, is for people to start believing in their fellow Americans. I do -- I firmly believe that two of three Americans stands on the same side of the river as I do when it comes to wanting to reduce government, shrink it, prune it, tame it, and restore American freedom to be righteous and prosperous.

This systemic problem of election stealing by the left has been happening for a long time. It has tipped the balance enough times that a decided minority, leftist, has seized, stolen, cheated to control of that force which is government -- George Washington said that "government is a force, a dangerous servant and a fearful master."

I believe what you say because most black folks I know are independent, level-headed right-thinking folks. In the voting booths, they've been robbed just like I've been robbed. EVERYBODY knows -- every single person, left or right, every person knows that the resistance to voter ID is SOLELY motivated by a desire to maintain and grow vote fraud.

EVERYBODY knows this.

I agree that requiring permits of all those workers is absurd while ignoring them for voting, but the fact is that those permits are just revenue generators for states/municipalities.

The simple fashion of fixing the non-counted military ballots is a simple worded law. If ever proven that your county’s ballots for absentee military members were not counted, then you render $2,000 to each member of the military that voted in that particular year....payable from the county general fund.

That would get the county commission intensely interested in the outcome and standing over the county clerk and county judge in this effort. You can imagine just fifty such non-counted votes and the impact of losing $100,000 for a moment of stupidity or political greed.

A good idea, but county officials won’t be able to oversee the transport of ballots from the overseas bases.

No, but they can hire up audit folks and make life miserable for the clerks of the county...firing them if necessary or dragging them into county court with charges. As for the transport of ballots....as long as they get to the intended GI’s by election week...the military officials in charge of delivering them...ought to be fired if they can’t get them back to all fifty states within seven days. Use UPS, FEDEX or whatever service is necessary...but in this day of age...you can’t use excuses anymore for three or four week delivery situations.
