In no way are the two comparable.

The Reagan Iran-Contra Strategy saved lives.

Dittoes.
If I knew - I had forgotten Reagan had a S/P. Nixon had ‘em. So - of course - did Clinton.
Yet the biggest liar/crook/d-bag of ALL presidents DOESN’T have one?
Benghazi, IRS, Executive Orders, F&F, Ties to Chicago mobsters, Eligibility, and a hundred other offenses... all ignored?

The disclosure of the diversion triggered a political firestorm, leaving the Reagan administration with little choice but to call for a criminal investigation by a wholly independent prosecutor. Interesting how political firestorms over IRS, NSA, Fast and Furious, and a dozen other scandals don't force our current regime to do anything of the sort.
