Meanwhile, the investigation into GM ignition failures -estimated to have killed as many as 300 people - goes virtually unreported. GM knew about the defect, could have replaced the part for just a few dollars, but did no recall or announcement. Don’t expect to hear from Holder on that one!

At least some of the Toyota failures were faked for money, although there were a total of 31 accidents and 12 deaths possibly linked to the failure. All of the GM failures were real, leading to more deaths than Toyota, and they may not all have been identified. The difference is connections. America has turned into Animal Farm, where “Some animals are more equal than others.”
