Prime Minister Tony Abbott has announced objects possibly related to the search for the missing Malaysian Airlines plane have been found in the southern Indian Ocean.
Thanks so much for that link
.
So, only the daughter in college was missing. How about the wife?
No. The only person described as “missing” in the article is the pilot/father.
Unless you stopped unloaded valuable cargo and the figured out how to get plane back in air without a pilot
Hmmmm, very interesting, actually went out for awhile. Went to the church to pray. It is time God moves and helps us find some answers, for the family sake especially.
I do not know if the ELT went off on Sully's flight, that would be interesting to know.
Why would the plane go “back” to America? What has it to do with America except Boeing?
I thought that is what I said...it could fly ‘until’ the fire caused the auto-piolet could no longer operate....melted or whatever....thus the plane would ditch.
However all remains to be seen.
Have been spending some time in the garden myself. Started early this morning working and talking. Always feel closest to Him there Praying for those searching, a miracle , mostly peace for family and friends. That poor mother yesterday tore me up.
The wings are pretty strong. Their interior structure is braced and the metal is usually stronger that the rest of the airframe. You ever see those "no step" areas outlined on a wing? If so then this is thinner material than the wings. If you walk there you would damage the skin.
The strongest part of the jet is the wing box, this has to take the stress of the wings flexing and the impact of landings. In a water landing or gear up landing the engines tend to rip off first.
When this turns out to be hypoxia, and the plane simply ran out of fuel, the conspiracy folks will go nuts
“At this point, anything that is the real answer would be a surprise.”
True that. I have come to believe that nothing he Malaysian government has said throughout this event can be trusted. Hypoxia makes the most sense, if the transponder being turned off can be disproved or somehow explained. In that area, running out of fuel makes more sense than anything else
mystery container maybe contains components from China to complete the weapon that is waiting in Pakistan, to be completed in Iran? Isn’t China pretty supportive of Iran to have nukes?
Weak is a relative statement. The thin cross section makes them comparatively weak, and they need to flex, not be static. Witness the Pentagon hit by the 757. Note too the engines themselves - not the mounting - tend to withstand accidents the best.
My basic premise all along.
That’s funny...
Yea wings can flex up to 14 feet in flight on some aircraft. Engines tend to survive crashes because they are made of tough materials designed to withstand extreme heat and pressure.
I saw a reconstruction of a crash. The only things I recognized was the four engines. It was a slow speed crash into trees.
I think the original turn to the left was to land. They were probably unconscious before that could happen. Then it just kept on going till it ran out of gas.
Is there any news tonight?
