“NO CONCEALED WEAPONS ALLOWED. If you are such a loser that you feel a need to carry a gun with you when you go out, I do not want your business. Douchebag.”
That’s the message Backstreets Pub & Deli recently sent to gun owners with a sign posted in its store window. The backlash against the establishment, located in Clemson, S.C., was swift after the conservative website Twitchy posted several photos of the sign from Twitter.
The Washington Times reports that the pub has a one-star rating out of five on Yelp.com, “with pages upon pages of negative comments and reviews by Second Amendment supporters.”

Well Douchebag is another example of those who make “Mindnumbingly Stupid Statements”.
Great comment from a Yelp poster: “The only thing that died from firearms here is YOUR BUSINESS.”

South Carolina? He should move his business to a state that offers the type of clientele he seeks...New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and so on...
Someone needs to hang up a “Victim Disarmament Zone, Criminals Welcome” sign right next to it.

but also the patrons, and they can all dial 1-800-dial-a-prayer and wait for the cops to show up an hour later to clean up the mess. These liberal koolaid drinkers just make it too easy to loot and pillage, like shooting fish in a barrel.

I’d take it as an insult if you didn’t show up armed. Showing up without means you either expect me to protect you as your host, or that our friendship isn’t worth your effort to help contribute to our common defense.

Mine as well. The Yelp reviews don’t indicate that though. The owner’s name is Peter Matsko but I can’t find any details about him.
Turns out it was a false-flag operation.
Someone made an offensive sign up, pasted it on the door of a business they wanted to hurt, took a picture, then skeedaddled.
Of course they posted to facebook, where it went viral.
But the damage was done.
Not saying that this isn't the case here, but it looks just like it.
If the sign is real, then the owner is stupid beyond all hope.
But if this is some kind of "game", it could happen to ANY business.
A lot of folks in a certain part of town have surely noted down the bar in question as being a profitable place for a visit.

If I was a gunphobe I would now be leery of patronizing this bar. Mr. Douchebag has posted a clarion call for stickup artists.
