(THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - Residents of Kuda Huvadhoo in Dhaal Atoll in the Maldives reportedly saw a "low-flying jumbo jet" flying over houses early in the morning of March 8, the same day Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 went missing.
In a report by Maldivian daily Haveeru, residents described the aircraft which flew over Kuda Huvadhoo at around 6:15am as being white, with red stripes across it.
This colour scheme is very similar to the livery used by Malaysia Airlines on its aircraft - including the Boeing 777 used for MH370.

Maldives police on Tuesday announced an investigation into reports that residents of the remote Maldives island of Kuda Huvadhoo in Dhaal Atoll have seen a low flying jumbo jet on the morning of the disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.
But the police did not reveal any details.
Whilst the disappearance of the Boeing 777 jet, carrying 239 passengers has left the whole world in bewilderment, several residents of Kuda Huvadhoo told Haveeru on Tuesday that they saw a low flying jumbo jet at around 6:15am on March 8.
They said that it was a white aircraft, with red stripes across it which is what the Malaysia Airlines flights typically look like.
Eyewitnesses from the Kuda Huvadhoo concurred that the aeroplane was travelling North to South-East, towards the Southern tip of the Maldives Addu. They also noted the incredibly loud noise that the flight made when it flew over the island.
A local aviation expert told Haveeru that it is likely for MH370 to have flown over the Maldives. The possibility of any aircraft flying over the island at the reported time is extremely low, the expert added.
Or the Malvinas as Obama calls them......where they speak Malvesian.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are enjoying a break in the sunny Maldives, local reports claim.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are said to have flown to the island nation in the Indian Ocean on Thursday, landing in capital Male at approximately 9.40am on a British Airways flight. William, 31, and Kate, 32, reportedly exited the Ibrahim Nasir International Airport VIP Lounge accompanied by Scotland Yard detectives when onlookers realised they were visiting.

Or Diego Garcia?
Pretty low. Anyone know how to figure a glide path to determine how much longer it could stay in the air?
Guarantee that NORAD knows where the plane is. Obastard is probably “too busy” (playing golf and planning his next vacation) to read the report or speak to the generals, though.
There isn’t anything much south/south east of there.
Maybe it later turned west for somalia or madagascar.
At 5000 ft. near Maldives, Indian radar would likely miss it, enroute to Pakistan...
The Paki’s would lie about it, so their assertions are meaningless.

Of course we know where the plane is. The US, Britain, Israel - they all know but they don’t want the bad guys to know how good their surveillance is.
The bad guys can’t keep that plane hidden for long. They’re going to have to make their move soon.
I wondered whether the plane, after the turn westward, did fly south of India and then turn north toward Pakistan/Iran or even Somalia.
Part of the problem would be the fuel load, but some of the ‘circles’ the experts say the plane could have reached touch Pakistan/Iran/Somalia.
Per some experts, the plane could glide for up to an hour after the fuel ran out. That expanded the circle to some 7,000 miles.
Yep. That would mean the US government is in on this mystery. You KNOW Diego Garcia has some top notch security in place. If the plane didn’t land there I find it hard to believe they didn’t “see” it go by.
