The Price We, and the World, Will Pay for Obama's Re-election

Most Americans who are dissatisfied with President Barack Obama's leadership are thinking about the poor economy and the misbegotten health care law. That disillusionment is justified -- if not tardy. But the foreign policy failures of this administration are likely to be far more consequential, lasting and possibly catastrophic.

What we are seeing is the collapse of American influence in the world.

Permitting people like Obama, Hillary Clinton, Chuck Hagel and John Kerry to deal with the brutal realities of world politics is like putting Richard Simmons into the ring with Muhammad Ali.

Good thing he's so "smooth and cool" huh? That'll solve everything. Do ya get the feeling that somebody is probably laughing at us for allowing this "over his head" simpleton in for a second term? Good thing he's "more flexible after the election" huh?

I’m going to repost from another thread: Obama as a leader is the natural and inevitable result of the will of the degenerate brutes and sodomites we now have as a populus. These people, any people, who are turned away from God, are self-excluded from wisdom; they do that which is right in their own eyes, and always end up in the ditch. They are incapable of anything save sin and destruction, because they have only the flesh as a headmaster. Therefore until they turn and return, such leaders will be all we will get.

Obama is but another installment of the price we will pay. The people are yet pleased with their poison. Bitter for sweet.

Overwhelming proof that affirmative action and diversity just do not work.

Americans are sold a bill of goods and the world is laughing at us.

If he was white, the press, save for the total cool-aid drinkers, would be savaging him.

That is the sad reality of today’s political correctness.

I personally don’t care what color he is. He’s a total disaster as an executive.

Just keep thinking about those Greek columns and the soaring oratory of the mocha messiah and all will be well. Putin will be worn down with the flurry of phone calls from the golf course and of course, that powerful pen, with one stroke, will cut off the trips to Vegas for Putin’s advisers .... Vlad will see the error of his ways, succumb to the Dither Doctrine and the world will be saved. Easy peasy .... what is so hard about being pResident and why should we peons worry about anything?

Obomba's Achilles Heel is the disappearing lock-step support he once had from Democrats.

Seven Dems helped Repubs defeat Obamba's choice for the DOJ Civil Rights Division---nom was a cheerleader for the crazies defending a cop-killer. They are now lining up to defeat Obomba's gun control worshipper for Surgeon General....even w/ Harry's vaunted nuclear option.

Its amazing what a Dumbocrat loss in Florida can engender. Peeling off Dummycrats from Obomba has begun to look like a full-time hobby.

Mmmmmmmm........looks like lock-stepping Demorat party loyalty has gone out of style. I keep wondering what Debbie Wassername is going to do w/ all those DNC-issue brown shirts (cackle).

DNC FASHION NOTE: what well-dressed lock-stepping
Democrat party loyalists are wearing this election season:

DNC-ISSUE BROWN SHIRTS.

Comparing Barack Obama to Richard Simmons is a gross insult.

To Richard Simmons.

"But the foreign policy failures of this administration are likely to be far more consequential, lasting and possibly catastrophic. "

I have to totally disagree with this. People put WAY to much weight into "foreign policy". This is the easiest aspect to fix. Elect a strong, conservative, pro military president and the worlds trouble makers immediately change their attitude.

On the other hand, Obamas destruction of the constitution, the economy and liberty in general will be very long lasting if not impossible to reverse.

The enemy of our republic is not in some foreign land. It's right here among us.

In October of 2008, I attended a business dinner where I found myself seated at a table with people from Singapore, Japan and France.

The Singaporean man openly expressed worry that Obama was a Muslim who would diminish American influence. The Japanese man wondered what there was in his resume or background which would cause the American people to even consider electing him to the highest office in the land. The French man pooh-poohed them both exclaiming that he was a brilliant man and would be a historical figure.

As the only American at the table, they wanted to know my take as well. I turned to the French man and ask "Exactly what has he done to demonstrate his brilliance?" He muttered something about coming from out of nowhere to capture the nomination from the favored candidate.

Said I, "That would be a valid point if this was a show-biz contest like Dancing With the Stars. But it is an election for the highest office of the world's largest economy. It may have far more severe consequences for all of your countries than mine."

Close. But wrong. If he was a Republican (no matter the color or gender), they would be savaging him. Remember, the media had to invent crap to vilify Bush. Scooter Libby went to jail because a democrat mentioned her name while she drove a desk and still had some undercover CIA status. Remember Sandy Burglar? He walked.

Democrats are racists and sexists even though many don't know it. Most of all they discriminate against true American patriots and conservatives.

Lucky for us that the Democrats chose a Commander in Chief with no previous US Military experience, is an arrogant Nobel Peace Prize winner, who wears Mom Jeans that makes him look like an ass when he leads from behind.

Obomba's Achilles Heel is the disappearing lock-step support he once had from Democrats.

That is a good point. Looking back, Clinton owes his (mostly false) positive economic legacy to the Republicans owning the the House and Senate. Clinton had to be brought kicking and screaming to economic senses. Remember that government shutdown? Welfare reform? De-regulation of industries? That was mostly Newt Gengrich before Newt became a metamorphic tadpole.
