Andrei Illarionov, formerly Vladimir Putins top economic advisor (and personal envoy to the G8) , has warned in an interview with Ukrainian television that Putin has already declared war on Kiev. Putins war is being conducted by Russian Spetsnaz (special operations) forces and KGB (now called FSB) agents and is aimed at toppling the pro-Western government in Kiev. The Spetsnaz forces orders include the sowing of civil unrest throughout Ukraine via strikes, demonstrations, staged incidents, and street battles. Putins subversive forces will also gin up neo-Nazi incidents with Nazi regalia and Swastikas on full display. Their orders include as well the deliberate killing of Russian soldiers and of ethnic Russian civilians to prove the hatred and extremism of radical Ukrainian nationalists. These orders come from Putin himself. Their goal is to create an image of intolerable chaos and loss of civil authority to justify a Russian takeover of all Ukraine. Putins goal is the destruction of pro-Western authority in Ukraine, the total humiliation of the West, and a makeover of the geopolitical balance.
Illiaronovs urgent advice to Ukraine: Place all your effort into preserving civil order and avoid falling for the Spetsnaz provocations. (This will be difficult as Spetsnaz-organized gangs are already storming public buildings in East Ukraine). Ukrainian authorities must immediately close all borders with Russia to slow the infiltration of Spetsnaz and FSB destabilization units. Ukrainian TV and radio must immediately broadcast all their news in Russian or in English because many Ukrainian citizens and Russians do not understand Ukrainian.
Illarianov pleads that the whole world understand what Putin is up to. A Putin success in taking over Ukraine would change Europe and the balance of power and lead to further restorations of the former Soviet Union...

Svoboda hold 5 out of how many?
My number of 3 ministers out of 18 is correct. In the article I think they’re adding the deputy prime minister and Parubiy for the RNBO. Still a small minority
Russians used to be good at math, now they consider 10% held by the nationalist Svoboda to be a majority (10% < 50%)
The 'Svoboda' party has 33 of 450 seats in the Verkhovna Rada. Using the math that I was taught, this certainly represents less than a 'majority' in parliament! But, my math is old school, in a Canadian school. Was your math covered under 'common core'? Or was it through a ФСБ or КГБ school, like Vlad's?
The interim Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Petrovych Yatsenyuk, of Yulia Tymoshenko's party, the Batkivshchyna, or 'Fatherland' party. The Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament and acting President of Ukraine is Oleksandr Valentynovych Turchynov, also of the 'Fatherland' Party. 'Svoboda' is PART of the coalition, as are people from several parties.
Personally, I don't have a dog in this fight other than the concern that I have for the many new Christian church plants in the Ukraine. They may be destroyed and the congregants oppressed if the Rouskies invade to recapture the old USSR territories. Since no church plants are allowed in Russia and since the Russian Orthodox Church was almost a sister organisation to the КГБ in the 1980s, we know that Vlad aids his supporters, so this likely would happen if Vlad invaded.
Of course for you, I guess that lustration is of paramount importance, so as not to lose your financial standing!
I would also hate for you to have to leave Grozny in shame and financial ruin.
A point you apparently missed is that we have seen large countries invade small ones and in fact we also have done this.
"The Svoboda party currently has around 40 members of parliament."
No one seems to really know, do they?
Do you have a source for the total number of seats?
Yeah, I watched it yesterday. Totally idiotic move by Miroshnichenko (Svoboda MP) No excuse.
His objections were valid though - the State TV boss had been appointed by Yanukovych and during the Maidan crisis, the channel had been Yanukovich’s mouthpiece; yesterday it had been re-translating Putin’s victory party. But, Miroshnichenko is a dumbass liability, he could’ve yelled at him, shamed him, gotten him fired, but roughing up the guy - not cool, especially when their every move is scrutinized.
The new government had condemned his actions. We’ll see what his punishment will be.
What will McCain say?/s
We killed lots of Indians and enslaved black Africans, too. You’ll probably think it’s swell for Putin to do that as well. Hitler used to bring that type of thing up to justify his actions.
Seems to me I just read a book on this subject, under the Clancy (et al) byline.
Here is the Ukrainian, followed by English, per Google translate:

According to Google Translate, 'Svoboda' means 'Freedom'. THAT party is in italics, 33 seats out of 450. Is that the majority to which you speak?
Oh, any by the way, if I lived in Grozny, I would most likely be a muhamedan so why would I care about any church, especially the FSB-Russian Orthodox Church?
I don’t remember anymore...
Moscow is one of the biggest beneficiaries of the Obama presidency, a presidency which seems on the surface at least to be unbelievably inept and clueless and dangerous. Is it out of the question that that’s who put him in the White House?
