The first turn to the west that diverted the missing Malaysia Airlines plane from its planned flight path from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing was carried out through a computer system that was most likely programmed by someone in the planes cockpit who was knowledgeable about airplane systems, according to senior American officials.
Instead of manually operating the planes controls, whoever altered Flight 370s path typed seven or eight keystrokes into a computer on a knee-high pedestal between the captain and the first officer, according to officials. The Flight Management System, as the computer is known, directs the plane from point to point specified in the flight plan submitted before each flight. It is not clear whether the planes path was reprogrammed before or after it took off.
The fact that the turn away from Beijing was programmed into the computer has reinforced the belief of investigators first voiced by Malaysian officials that the plane was deliberately diverted and that foul play was involved. It has also increased their focus on the planes captain and first officer.

According to investigators, it appears that a waypoint was added to the planned route. Pilots do that in the ordinary course of flying if air traffic controllers tell them to take a different route, to avoid weather or traffic. But in this case, the waypoint was far off the path to Beijing.
Whoever changed the planes course would have had to be familiar with Boeing aircraft, though not necessarily the 777 the type of plane that disappeared. American officials and aviation experts said it was far-fetched to believe that a passenger could have reprogrammed the Flight Management System.

That reminds me of the computer flight simulator that I used to play with in the mid-80s. I used to regularly crash into the World Trade Buildings in New York. And most of the time, I would do it on purpose.
I’m sure glad the authorities didn’t find that out about me - in September of 2001 ... LOL ...
Look at the countries: Banglesdesh, Burma, India, Pakistan. Skip China and you won’t have many problems.
Diego Garcia..interesting how that name keeps on popping up over and over again
India has radar. Burma would be the best route
See “Boeing Uninterruptible Auto Pilot.”
If someone hacked the RQ-170 stealth drone and brought it down, as they have demonstrated, then perhaps they can hack the the B.U.A.P.

Information being spoon-fed to the world, for what reason?
Feel sorry for the families involved. And still wonder if this slow dribble of information is to distract us while other events are happening elsewhere in the world.
You are several orders of magnitude more intelligent than any TSA bureaucrat.
Oh ... one more thing ... plug in that guy’s coordinates on some mapping program (like Google Maps, for one ... ) and see where it puts you.
08° 22’ 30.23” N 108° 42’ 22.26” E
Then, take a look at the known positions of the plane from radar after the transponder was turned off.
That looks like fun ... :-) ...
I’m going to have to see what flight simulators they’ve got for this iPad.
Anything seems possible at this point. A suicide mission where the target is destroyed immoderately with no witnesses, etc. dosen’t make sense though.
I do not believe it was a suicide mission in the classic sense. The pilot is probably not alive. The passengers are probably not alive.
We will find out soon what the goal was.
Thanks for your thoughts.
I’ll stay with mine and could be very wrong.
As I commented before there is not one government in this world that I would trust or bet told the truth in most matters.
Our “government “ said Benghazi was because of a video tape.
They also said NSA wasn’t listening to your messages.
Our Dear Leader said we would have a transparent White House.
He could have seen a plane, Not on fire going to San bay Con Dao airport, 120+
N. Miles, heading 271*
It could also be anotherValue Jet 562 incident?

If someone hacked a Mercedes driving through Los Angeles
IIRC, when Bush make his suprise visit to Iraq for thanksgiving they flew AF1, but claimed to be a Gulfstream private jet.
>>>Information being spoon-fed to the world, for what reason?
Malaysian cultural problem. They are thinking, this incidence had brought shame to country. What whole world will think about them etc? Now cover-up is going on.
In reality, they had very poor/low IQ bureaucracy, Muslims get first priority, Elites are corrupt. They had no clue.
Sleeping gas, my hairy purple donkey.
The passengers not in on this would be cranky and rebellious after landing. My bet is that they landed at a preplanned destination, where the passengers were herded off the airplane by a few people with weapons and then into a nearby pit, dug by heavy equipment. Either shot or just buried in the pit. A convenient cave would be excellent for this purpose.
There only reason they lived that long is that the hijackers did not want to clean the blood out of the plane, and bodies are heavy and hard to carry out.
My bet is on the plane itself is the item they wanted. Otherwise we would have had ransom demands already.
Live passengers need to be fed, need water, and in general are a pain the the fanny. If you release any of them after a ransom, it is a good bet that someone on board has navigation skills and has measured your latitude well enough that any military can find you in a few hours. There is always a chance that this knowledge leaves with the ransomed and there will be an army at your door in a few days.
Are you suggesting that MH370 hit a Pole? Then Putin did it.
