Anything seems possible at this point. A suicide mission where the target is destroyed immoderately with no witnesses, etc. dosen’t make sense though.
I do not believe it was a suicide mission in the classic sense. The pilot is probably not alive. The passengers are probably not alive.
We will find out soon what the goal was.
