As the search for the missing flight MH370 enters its 10th day with few clues as to its whereabouts, the New Straits Times said today the Boeing 777-200ER dropped 5,000 feet (1,500m) to evade commercial radar detection.
In an exclusive story, the government-backed paper said investigators analysing MH370s flight data revealed that the 200-tonne, fully laden twinjet descended 1,500m or even lower to evade commercial (secondary) radar coverage after it turned back from its flight path en route to Beijing.

Investigators poring over MH370s flight data had said the plane had flown low and used terrain masking as it flew over the Bay of Bengal and headed north towards land, the NST reported.

Terrain masking refers to an ability to position an aircraft so there is natural earth hiding it from the radio waves sent from the radar system. It is a technique mostly used in aerial combat where military pilots would fly at extremely low elevations upon normally hilly or mountainous terrain to mask their approach.
Experts said flying a Boeing 777 in such a way would be dangerous, stressing the airframe and possibly causing those on board to be air sick and suffer from spatial disorientation.

Bump
No debris sighted.
Which brings me back to the whole “Suicidal pilot” theory, why do all this if the pilot or co-pilot wanted to just off himself..doing all this just to kill yourself” they wanted to be undetected for a reason, notice something else..whenever something horrible happens notice how Iran is always mocking us, making jokes about it or celebrating(Since there were Americans on board they would be thrilled about this) not a peep from them about this event..my gut tells me they have this plane
Lotta water to search.
Not sure anyone in the rear of the aircraft was alive. The only reason to go to 45,000 ft would be to decompress and oxygen starve those in the back.
First it was flying at 45,000’ and now flying low, that sound erratic. I would NOT put to much stock in these news reports, as nothing seems credible or stable yet.
Iran is a terrorist nation and that’s what they do, and Putin is evidently not being controlled by the NWO, upsetting Soros, Kerry, and Obama. Between those two countries Israel is in real danger, and so are we.
It’s already been searched.
I agree.
copious amounts of HE and EW can fully explain this. Not saying that’s what happened but it can explain it. There have been reports that new boeing airliners can be hacked mid air as well, as in, flight controls taken over externally.
Doubtfully.
He probably de pressurized the cabin when he climbed to 45,000 + feet to suffocate and kill the passengers and then flew the plane at low altitude to where ever it's being hidden until it's ready for whatever use the pirates intend to use it for
“Experts said flying a Boeing 777 in such a way would be dangerous, stressing the airframe and possibly causing those on board to be air sick and suffer from spatial disorientation.”
Why is the airframe stressed? At a low altitude, the cabin is barely pressurized.
Air sick? Depends on turbulence and visibility. Air sickness is usually the eye and the inner ear trying to resolve perceived discrepancies, leading to nausea.
Spatial disorientation? Turn on the autopilot.
Sure hope that Israel is watching out for commercial airliners intruding into their airspace. Seems like a convenient plan for Iran to deliver their not so advanced nuclear weapon.
They are.
Sorry, not possible given the area to be searched and the resources so far applied.
I take it nobody is buying the sat photo of the plane 20’ deep in the Malacca Straight and the debris field just West of it?
I think the photo is legitimate.
Where it flew over at 1,500m headed into the Malacca Straits. They searched that area first thing.
Look up maneuvering speed and turbulence and start learning about aviation.
What sounds far fetched to me is it dropping from 45,000 to 23000 feet, I think that would make the plane break apart wouldn’t it? I dont see how a plane survives dropping that much that fast so those numbers might be off..considering the plane kept on flying after all of that I guess the plane was in pretty good shape to continue flying for another seven hours
