Stupid smartphone autocorrected “punked” as “linked”.
Interesting..
Police caught the three robbers, whose names have not been released, in the backed-up traffic not long after the robbery at a Rockville Wells Fargo branch, Montgomery County police say.
Police say two men armed with handguns robbed the bank at 404 King Farm Blvd. about 10 a.m. They fled in silver Kia SUV, driven by a third person, with the stolen cash.
A Prince George's County police helicopter spotted the SUV traveling south along I-270 a short time later. Police shut down the interstate in order to nab the robbers, who were found stopped in traffic just south of Tuckerman Lane, according to Montgomery County police.
Police found a gun used in the robbery inside the car. And the money taken in the robbery was found in a dump truck that had been traveling near the SUV. Police believe the robbers ditched the cash once they realized police were nearby.
The interstate was shut down in both directions for about 30 minutes while police hunted for the robbers. Motorists stuck in traffic tweeted that police were walking among the stopped vehicles with their weapons drawn.
Northbound lanes reopened about 10:50 a.m. and some southbound traffic began moving a short time later. All lanes were clear by 11:40 a.m.

They knew who they were looking for and they knew where they were. Once the traffic was stopped. the chopper pilot led the police on the ground right to them and even spotted the evidence they ditched in a truck bed nearby. By creating a traffic jam (something that happens on that stretch of road quite frequently) they were able to corral the suspects and remove them in a safe and simple manner.
The description: "Warrantless car-to-car searches" is a bit of a stretch... well no, really it's a lie thrown in by the "journalist" and only serves to incite public backlash where it's not warranted . And yes, for the mouth breathers amongst us, the perps were young black indiciduals.
I didn’t see this on the news. Guess it wasn’t news worthy enough. That in itsself is news worthy.
The AG here is a gun grabbing commie running for Govenor.
Dont know how I got on this ping list. However, because of the high frequency and volume of posting, I would like to be removed. Thank you.
If the police shut down the highway and search every vehicle for fugitives do they require a warrant?
By saying, “Sure, no problem,” you would give consent to a search, even if you added something about getting a warrant.
Be very careful what you say to police who are demanding to search you or your property. If they ask, “Do you mind if we search” whatever it is, do not allow the first word you utter to be either Yes or No, as you will then have given consent either way, no matter what else you might say. Instead, say, “I do not consent to any search,” and nothing else. Not one word.
Well, sure.
Then the Engrish language means whatever you want it to mean, “Relative” to your endeavor to seem so erudite, whether or not it’s true...
It’s clear from your posts that the English (notice the spelling there) language means, to you, whatever you want it to mean at any given time. OK, fine.
Personally, I don’t care at all whether you get searched, with or without your consent. You just say anything you please to the police, and feel free to disregard anyone’s advice.
I think you just like to see words on a screen that you typed.
I intentionally spelled each word on this post, so as not to offend your sense of Queens English and injure any decorum you attach to it...
But, curious:
How would you define the 2A?
Is it the right of the people to secure arms or the Militia?
The police have become a hostile occupation force.
Well, that leaves US out.
The meaning of the Second Amendment is clear to anyone who reads it, and does not require my definition. The Second Amendment also does not contain the word “secure”.
I have better things to do with my time than to try to discern whatever meaning might be contained in your posts, and much better things to do than to try to correct your spelling and grammar.
Please take the last (incoherent) word now, and let it go at that.
“No, the promotion of totalitarianism and lazy police work is nuts.”
Agreed.
But that doesn’t mean that the assertion of an “...illusory argument designed to make criminals out of every citizen that operates a vehicle...” isn’t also nuts.
I’m not referring to the “illusory argument” part, nor the “make criminals ...” part, but the unsubstantiated use of the word “designed” seems a little extreme.
I think you are an incoherent mindless babbler.
The meaning of my original post couldn’t have been any clearer or plainer than the English language it was typed in.
Decent of you look up the 2A and at least understand another part of my post but, you still didn’t define it and “NO”, it apparently isn’t clear as to what the definition is, as we are still arguing about it in the press, in the courts and elsewhere.
I don't think I've argued directly against any of that but in regard to "unlikely to find the sought for bad guys who may not have even existed" I do note that as a result of this search they caught and charged the perpetrators according to the following links from within the original post:

"How about: description of suspects and suspect vehicle?"
According to this link ( http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/crime/police-halt-montgomery-county-commuters-pick-out-bank-robbery-suspects/2014/03/11/a2fb7b70-a94b-11e3-8599-ce7295b6851c_story.html ) from within the original post:
"They got into a silver Kia, where a third man was waiting, and drove off."
"A short time later, the Kia was spotted on southbound I-270."
I know the "news" didn't provide a description of the suspects, but that seems to be standard for PC reasons lately, and it doesn't mean the police didn't have such a description.
Had to go with the personal insults, didn’t you? OK, my own opinion of you, based on your posts, is that you are a childish, semi-literate, and somewhat stupid person. Make the most of that, and have a good life.
LOL
My apologies.
My response was wholly and completely unwarranted.
You were just trying to help me out and went overboard.
No excuse and I was wrong.
Your description of me seeks apt though.
