Guinness pulls out of St. Pattys parade over LGBT ban
Guinness beer has pulled its sponsorship from New Yorks famed St. Patricks day parade over a controversial policy that prohibits gays and lesbians from marching openly, according to reports.
Guinness has a strong history of supporting diversity and being an advocate for equality for all, the company said in a statement on the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation website.
We were hopeful that the policy of exclusion would be reversed for this years parade. As this has not come to pass, Guinness has withdrawn its participation. We will continue to work with community leaders to ensure that future parades have an inclusionary policy.
The move came after the legendary gay bar, the Stonewall Inn, announced it would dump the beer from its shelves in protest of the parades anti-gay policy. The protest was cancelled after the Guinness announcement.

When did Stonewall get a legal permit to operate? It was a mob run speakeasy when it was shuttered by the police, spawning a 3 day hissyfit.

Well, so now, Sam Adams and Guinness have yielded to the queers.
Let me know when Pabst Blue Ribbon and Budweiser give in.

he Stonewall Inn, announced it would dump the beer from its shelves in protest of the parades anti-gay policy
Cutting off ones nose to spite one’s fact is still ill advised even in this day of LSMFTGBLT dogma

If the constipated customers of Stonewall dump the beer (which has already been purchased from the distributor) it costs the brewery NADA.

According to the article ...
“That leaves Ford Motors as the only major American corporation that continues to sponsor the St. Patricks Day Parade.
Guinness joins beer companies Heineken and Sam Adams who have also pulled sponsorships from St. Patricks Day Parades.”

As did “Sam Adams”. I wonder if he can sue them for defamation of character?

Ugh. Guess I won't be buying DEO stock after all. I'll miss you Guinness ... yes I will. But it's for the best; clearly you do not need my dollars and I can better spend them elsewhere.

Never a fan of Sam Adams or Guinness. Their stout sucks compared to Deschutes Obsidian Stout. That will put hair on your chest (so they wouldn’t care if gays boycott). Frankly it bothers me that a political group can have so much power that they can scare corporations so easily.

Do these beer companies realize that most gays don’t drink beer? lol

What you have are sexual perverts that go to prison in 75% of the world for this sickening mental illness that nobody wants to see them. Stay home.
