Guinness pulls out of St. Pattys parade over LGBT ban
Guinness beer has pulled its sponsorship from New Yorks famed St. Patricks day parade over a controversial policy that prohibits gays and lesbians from marching openly, according to reports.
Guinness has a strong history of supporting diversity and being an advocate for equality for all, the company said in a statement on the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation website.
We were hopeful that the policy of exclusion would be reversed for this years parade. As this has not come to pass, Guinness has withdrawn its participation. We will continue to work with community leaders to ensure that future parades have an inclusionary policy.
The move came after the legendary gay bar, the Stonewall Inn, announced it would dump the beer from its shelves in protest of the parades anti-gay policy. The protest was cancelled after the Guinness announcement.

Back in the 60’s I was a Camp Counselor in Vt. One year one of my campers was Phillip Pabst. When camp was over all Male Counselors of age, received a case of Blue Ribbon. Any way Phillip was a great kid! I wonder if he’s running the place now!

With all these refusals to homos, I might actually start liking St. Patrick’s Day (AKA Irish-American Chest-Beating Day).

I wonder if it’s not that homosexual executives force these moves.

I’m sure Alec Guinness would approve of the parade. After all, a light-saber is nothing but an updated shilelagh.
To: DogByte6RER
NOOOOOOO Oh well. I gave it up for Lent anyway. Guess I’ll just have to give it up permanently.
