youngest son and his bud...got tattoos of our family motto on their right back shoulders.

My eldest son and I got identical tattoos of our Scottish family clan badge on our right shoulders over ten years ago. My younger sons have told me that they're going to follow suit as soon as they turn 18.

I never thought at the time that I was starting a family tradition, but it's kinda cool.

Yup it IS cool! That's why I am going to get one. Probably my oldest son as well. Family tradition.

Sadly we are lowland Scot...Stole horses for the MacDonald clan is what I have been told. Supposedly we were granted the land that is now Edinburgh but I wouldn't try to make a claim, LOL.
