Go ahead Mitch, put another heavy anchor around your neck. Now jump in the campaign waters to see what happens.

Conservative Texans would not vote for Perry for President. He was okay as governor because Texas has a weak-governor system, more symbolic than real leadership. PR Rick was fine for that job.

Our most valuable post is Lt. Gov, because he sets the agenda for the legislation that will be considered. We are working to have a real conservative, Dan Patrick, beat the GOPe candidate, David Dewhurst, for that office in the May 27 run-off.

Bite me Perry.

He’s still ahead in the primary run at the moment. But I guarantee he will lose the general if he takes the primary.

We’re not voting for him regardless of how many Republican whores endorse him. Not...Going...To...Happen.

So, if Chinless wins, can I blame Perry for it from now on? Will this finally put Chinless over the top?

Here’s the scenario: Perry endorses McConnell, then McConnell wins, therefore McConnell is Perry’s fault.

I can’t wait to throw this in the Palin-basher’s faces every time they blame McCain on her.

How funny! I got blasted just two days ago for correctly remembering Rick Perry's highly paid and totally failed performance upon his entry into the 2012 race on this thread: Rick Perry Making Case to Be Taken Seriously in '16

You don't get a second chance to make a good first impression.

Right or wrong, in 2012 the whole nation outside of Texas got a first impression of Rick Perry as the white-male version of Sheila Jackson Lee, only less articulate.

RINO Rick can’t help it.

Walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it is a duck.

Governor Perry has forgotten the one thing that Tea Partiers have in common with the GOP Elephant.

L-O-N-G MEMORIES.

I'm a Texan who has put up with Rick Perry in politics for 2.5 decades. I warned people when he was running for the GOP nomination for Prez in 2012: Rick Perry is an empty suit and not the brightest light in the harbor. He is a career politician who is part of the "Good ol' boy" network and his wife is a ditz."

Rand Paul and now Perry; endorsing McConnell. There's an explanation for that. McConnell has pictures of Paul and Perry "sixty-nining" oral sex on each other.

Rick, I don’t recall McC coming into TX in 2010 and endorsing you over Hutchison. Did I miss that?

Every time I think Rick Perry has figured out it may be good to keep his yap shut, and just not give out endorsements...

The dumbsh!t bug bites him and this happens...

Am I surprised this made the news...Nope...

This statement was designed to illicit a response out of the true conservative base just to pizz us off...

The “Moderate/Pro-GOP Establishment” Perry is gone after this cycle...Hopefully there will not be a Governor Wendy Davis to have to deal with...

If Texas is to stay red, and its not looking good...WE have to make sure we get the vote out...And republicans are notorious for not doing that in the last 15 years...

If you want to remain the status Quo in the Lt. Governors race, by all means vote for the Establishment tard Dewhurst, or vote for the “Do you know WHO I am!!!” Dan Patrick in the runoff coming up...He’s a pompous shrill and he tends to lie a lot about stuff...But hey, proofs in the pudding...

Dispite former Texas AG Greg Abbott being my choice for Gov...Most of the rest of the top jobs are a bunch of goobs at this point...

The only one of that bunch would be Ken Paxton for AG...The rest are part of an engineered slate of folks who bought their way into this opportunity...

And we are going to have to put up with some nonsense at the end of the day...No way around it at this point...

Unless you’re ok with Democrats running Texas...

Just my opinion...

At one time in the past I had Perry on my favorites listing for POTUSA. As time wore on he was slipping to the bottom of the list. Now with his promoting of McConnell I have erased his name.
