Americans for Prosperity has reserved nearly $850,000 in airtime for TV ads that will begin Monday.

A source tracking media buys told POLITICO that about $500,000 in time has been reserved in Denver and $340,000 has been reserved in Colorado Springs. The money is spread over three weeks. Continue Reading

The Koch brothers-backed group is making the buy in the wake of Republican Rep. Cory Gardner’s decision to challenge Democratic Sen. Mark Udall.

This is the first outside group to make a major play in the Rocky Mountain State.

Does Politico ever refer to a group as a “Soros-backed group”?

Udall has been trying to run away from his vote on Obamacare. Tie it around is neck like a millstone.

Sen Mark Udall finds himself super-glued to Obamacare---tarnished by his association with the unpopular Obama, and Udall's lock-stepping support for Obama's ill-fated Affordable Care Act.

ANOTHER VOTE-CRAZED DEMOCRAT
GOES BALLISTIC AT THE PROSPECT OF LOSING GOVT POWER

Lock-stepping Democrat Udall echoed the Democrat party line---parroting the false promise that "Coloradans could keep your plans"......

Then all hell broke loose.....b/c some 330,000 Coloradans received cancelation notices Udall promised they wouldn’t.

Vote-crazed Udall’s crazed response was to lean on state insurance regulators to change their numbers by changing their vocabulary. He argued plans shouldn’t be counted as canceled if a person was eligible to buy a pricier ACA-compliant plan.

The insurance regulator resisted Udall’s psychotic arguments.

Then things got interesting. CompleteColorado.com obtained and reported on internal state emails of insurance official, Jo Donlin, stating the deranged Udall wanted to “trash” the state’s numbers....

Fearing he'd lose his seat, vote-crazed Udall contacted her repeatedly, and when she refused to bend, she received a “very hostile” call from Udall’s chief of staff (maybe more like a "threat"?).

Udall’s obsessed interference prompted demands for more information and for an investigation into his twisted conduct.

Almost instantly, Colorado’s Department of Regulatory Affairs, which oversees the Division of Insurance, issued a statement claiming a "neutral and objective panel" investigated the matter and determined "Udall’s office did nothing improper and there was no intimidation."

(waiting for hysterical laughter to die down)

NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS Absolving deranged Senator Udall of culpability is the exact same MO used right before NJ Sen Torricell was forced out of office.

Obama Adds to Fears of Democrat candidates
(Dumbocrat tell NY Times Obama's political "poison")
FR posted 3/15/14 by Liz

Democrat candidates s are increasingly alarmed about midterms amid Obama’s sinking approval ratings, the loss in Florida, and millions of dollars spent to attack Obama's ACA.

This has led to uncharacteristic criticism of Obama and bitter complaints that his vaunted political organization has done little to help the party’s vulnerable candidates.

One Democrat who asked not to be identified, said Mr. Obama was becoming “poisonous” to the party’s candidates.

WH officials — and the health care adviser — were met with angry questions about why Obama’s well-funded " Organizing for Action" was not airing commercials offering them cover on the health law. .....one source familiar with the meeting described “a high level of anxiety.”

Obama’s approval rating is 41 percent...... Since post-World War II, that has been one of the most accurate predictors of midterm results....any number below 50 means trouble for the party that holds the WH.

Democrats up for re-election are trying to put some distance between themselves and the president... Other Democrats are openly critical of the health care law.

Alex Sink’s loss to David Jolly in Florida’s 13th District last week added to the Democrats’ negative story line. Frightening Democrats further, is that none of the Republican third-party money in the race came from the Koch brothers.....

Democrats speak more candidly about what many see as the root cause for their political difficulties: the bungled unveiling of the health law, in particular the insurance website, and the White House’s failure to market the initiative effectively.

Democrats are furious that the same major contributors who enabled Mr. Obama and allied outside groups to raise over $1 billion for his re-election are not rallying to ensure the president does not face a Congress controlled entirely by Republicans for his final two years. MORE AT NYTIMES.COM

The Kochs were waiting to see the outcome of the Florida David Jolly-Alex Sink-Sunk election before unloosing the purse strings.

Now we see the GREAT IMPORTANCE of this single conservative victory...it's having both psychological and financial ripple effects across the country in SO many ways it's hard to count 'em all.

Contributions to conservative candidates will now start coming in like gangbusters, wait and see. The Dim candidates for the Senate and House must be breaking out the poison hemlock as we speak, especially those who supported ObamaCare-Less.

HOORAH!

Very interesting. Thanks. Maybe we should keep that 17th Amendment after all. It appears that the local bureaucrats aren’t so conservative after all and know where their federal funding comes from.

Isn’t it nice of Politico to credit the Koch brothers for the ads. It’s funny they don’t credit the left wing sugar daddies for their ads, too. Couldn’t have anything to do with the Obama strategy of using the Koch brothers as the target of Alinsky’s 12th rule, could it?
