Democrats are increasingly alarmed about midterms amid Obamas sinking approval ratings, the loss in Florida, and millions of dollars spent to attack Obama's ACA.
This has led to uncharacteristic criticism of Obama and bitter complaints that his vaunted political organization has done little to help the partys vulnerable candidates.
One Democrat who asked not to be identified, said Mr. Obama was becoming poisonous to the partys candidates.
WH officials and the health care adviser were met with angry questions about why Obamas well-funded " Organizing for Action" was not airing commercials offering them cover on the health law. .....one source familiar with the meeting described a high level of anxiety.
Obamas approval rating is 41 percent...... Since post-World War II, that has been one of the most accurate predictors of midterm results....any number below 50 means trouble for the party that holds the WH.
Democrats up for re-election are trying to put some distance between themselves and the president... Other Democrats are openly critical of the health care law.
Alex Sinks loss to David Jolly in Floridas 13th District last week added to the Democrats negative story line. Frightening Democrats further, is that none of the Republican third-party money in the race came from the Koch brothers.....
Democrats speak more candidly about what many see as the root cause for their political difficulties: the bungled unveiling of the health law, in particular the insurance website, and the White Houses failure to market the initiative effectively.
Democrats are furious that the same major contributors who enabled Mr. Obama and allied outside groups to raise over $1 billion for his re-election are not rallying to ensure the president does not face a Congress controlled entirely by Republicans for his final two years.

Jeez, no kidding rats. Use those tiny brains and
figure it out.
Democrats critical of Obama and Obamacare?
But, isn’t it a fact that any criticism of Obama is racist?
Thus, aren’t these fellow Democrats being racist by being critical of Obama?
And they drank it up while they thought it was to their advantage.
Well if there is real confrontation between us and the Russians that will really put Obama in the crapper.
It is a lost cause. The donors know better than to throw money down a Rat hole.
Historically, the mid term elections in year 6 of a president’s term are bad news for his political party. We’ll see.
It will be interesting to watch MSNBC on election night, if the results are what we all anticipate now.
“Sinking” has gained a whole new definition.....
During election season, Obama will take a long, expensive vacation to keep out of the Democrats’ hair.
Now the race card is coming back to bite the Dems. You know the white liberals are furious at the president but they can’t be seen as being negative towards him and risk alienating black voters as a result. “It’s Bush’s fault doesn’t fly anymore as a ready excuse for them so now they’re in obvious panic mode.
“Millions of dollar spent to attack ACA.”
By who? I sure don’t see any concerted campaigns to attack it. It is all grass root wrath; people are mightily angry about the government destroying the greatest healthcare system in the world and replacing it with a monstrosity that zooms insurance prices to the stratosphere and makes care unavailable at ANY price with limited doctor networks, government approvals, government pressure on insurers to deny requests for specialists, government denying access to life-saving drugs, etc.
On the other hand, there is solid proof the Dems HAVE spent hundreds of millions of dollars promoting this communist monstrosity. But opposition? Where? By whom? I’m still waiting.
Idiots. They truly think it was flawed marketing of the wonderful "gift" from Government, Inc that makes people hate it. A sh!t sandwich still smells like crap no matter how you market it. Stupid, idiotic bastards will never ever admit communism kills, doesn't work, can't ever work, and we want no part of it in our country.
“It is a lost cause. The donors know better than to throw money down a Rat hole.”
Yeah, they need to concentrate on “buying Repubicans now.”
“Millions of dollar spent to attack ACA.
“By who?”
The same people funding the massive global warming denial campaign.
The Democrats have the “Obama” problem resolver action right in the palm of their hands. Put together a committee of House & Senate Democrats......and march up to the White House and demand that Obama immediately resign....then immediately repeal Obamacare, etc. If he (Obama) will not resign...impeach him.
Dems other then that, and you buffoons are going down in flames, come November, 2014!!! Just take a good look at both the Texas primary results & the race in Florida!!! It tells the clear story of what is coming down the road!!! Imagine in just two election events, Wendy Davis & Alex Sink, major Democrat were destroyed politcally in one swoop!!!
Wise up....Democrats...like “Flounder” in “Animal House”....you trusted Obama and he screwed you. Now.....you screw him....or go down with him into political obscurity forever!!! I only warned you fools about a thousand times over the year or two!!! And remember...his bosum buddy, Putin is taking him apart piece by piece!!! LOL!!!
“It is a lost cause. The donors know better than to throw money down a Rat hole.”
Dang! I was hoping the rich Dems would spend a few more million Kay Hagan, or on the losing Wendy Davis campaign. I want them to go broke!
Obama’s thrown the Democrats under the bus. Now that he’s been re-elected he no longer needs them.
Duh...of course! How could I have missed that?
As far back as 2008, at the presidential debate in Nashville, Democrat candidate Obama advanced his signature healthcare plan---ultimately enacted, by an historic straight Democrat party-line vote, into the "Affordable Care Act"
QUOTING 2008 OBAMA: "No. 1, let me just repeat, if youve got a health care plan that you like, you can keep it. All Im going to do is help you to lower the premiums on it. Youll still have choice of doctor.
Repeated over and over ---- with the promise that every American family would be saving $2500.00 on healthcare costs.
Significantly, Obamba NEVER corrected lock-stepping Democrats, all reading from the same Democrat talking points, all of them repeating the same Democrat promises---over and over again.
LOCK-STEPPING PARTY LOYALTY NOT SEEN SINCE 1930-40's ERA EUROPE Obama And The Dems marched in lockstep. The persistent Dumbocrat drumbeat ---- in obeisance to Obama ---- kept ringing reassuringly in our ears: "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan."

SEN. MAX BAUCUS (D-Mont.): That is why one of the central promises of health care reform has been and is: If you like what you have, you can keep it. That is critically important. SEN. MICHAEL BENNET (D-Colo.): We should begin with a basic principle: if you have coverage and you like it, you can keep it. If you have your doctor, and you like him or her, you should be able to keep them as well. We will not take that choice away from you. (Sen. Bennet, Press Release, 6/11/09)
SEN. BARBARA BOXER (D-Calif.): So we Democrats want people to be able to keep the health care they have. And the answer to that is choice of plans. SEN. BOB CASEY (D-Pa.): I also believe this Democrat legislation and the bill we are going to send to President Obama this fall will also have secure choices. If you like what you have, you like the plan you have, you can keep it. It is not going to change. (Sen. Casey, Congressional Record, S.8070, 7/24/09)

As I said, you may have missed my remarks at the beginning of the call, but one of the things I that I said as a requirement that I have for supporting a Democrat bill is that if you have health coverage that you like you should be able to keep that. under every scenario that Ive seen, if you have health coverage that you like, you get to keep it. (Sen. Shaheen, Health Care Questions From Across New Hampshire, Accessed 11/13/13)
SEN. DEBBIE STABENOW (D-Mich.): As someone who has a large number of large employers in my state, one of the things I appreciate about the Democrat chairmans remark is is the grandfathering provisions, the fact that the people in my state, 60 percent of whom have insurance, are going to be able to keep it. And Mr. Chairman, I appreciate that. Thats a strong commitment. Its clear in the bill I appreciate the strong commitment on your part and the president to make sure that if you have your insurance you can keep it. Thats the bottom line for me.
