KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak said Saturday that a missing passenger jet was steered off course after its communications systems were intentionally disabled and could have potentially flown for seven additional hours.
In the most comprehensive account to date of the plane’s fate, Najib drew an ominous picture of what happened aboard Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, saying investigators had determined there was “deliberate action by someone on the plane.”

I’m afraid more like hellish nightmare island.
Terror cells traditionally don’t involve themselves with external sources. Radioactive waste on the other hand is probably poorly secured in Iran and just sitting in the middle of nowhere waiting to get picked up. It is not like you have to negotiate with a far-flung country to buy a bomb you don’t know will work and deal with people outside your cell that you don’t know or trust.
But look at what a great magnet this has been pulling attention away from Ukraine.
I’m leaning toward the deliberate loss of cabin pressure theory myself. Still doesn’t explain where the plane is.
The passengers with fake passports were false leads, I think. The pilot with the flight simulator in his house is the one to look at , evidently. If there’s one thing we have learned about these type of terrorists it’s that sometimes they just want to commit mindless random murder and destruction. The net gain is not something like an airplane, but scaring people. That’s why they’re called TERRORists.
Supposedly there was about a ton of gold on the flight. That could be a way to pay for it.

Yes, except Payne Stewarts Learjet was not deliberately depressurized. I think we have good enough evidence, albeit circumstantial that 370 wasn’t accidental.
