The odds of the girl not knowing him are extremely small. Even if the Dad gets off with nothing, the boy’s family is going to sue him in civil court and take him to the cleaners.

a 17 year old is not a 12 year old. physically probably stronger than the dad. lot faster and more endurance.
I’m not going to say it happened like this in this situation, but women have been known to say all sorts of things rather than own up to guilt. Guys do it too for that matter.
I think the whole thing should be sorted out before the kid is executed. You can’t do that in a few seconds.
