In the Zalman, which I looked at years ago, it has three speakers for each ear. I'm pretty sure it needs three jacks for front, back, bass.

Not sure how the Sennheiser works, but I'd get that over the Zalman, being extremely satisfied with my stereo Sennheiser pair.
