It could only be accomplished by designating certain seats as male, others as female. It, moreover, reflects the insanity of those neurotics who simply cannot accept the reality that all people differ; that formulas that require equality of achievement by different classes, races, sexes or other definable categories of persons, are an insane denial of that reality.

It could be done. Only one way I can see.
Divide state into 100 districts (or whatever number). Each district has two seats. One for which only men can run, the other for only women.
So at each election, a Democratic man would run against a GOP male for the male seat, and a Democratic women against a GOP female for the female seat.
It would work. Kind of stupid, but it could be made to work.
Then instead of the media reporting on the 97th district rep as (R), it would be (R, F).
