Is GA going to vote for the scion of the 2nd worst POTUS in history after the current occupant? These Democratic voters are like locusts. They ruin the states they live in then move on to lay waste to new territory. Is there any reason not to believe that as in Virginia migration from Deep Blue states will turn NC and GA Purple than Blue?

Much of the USA is blue because of Democrats, blue as in sad.

Also do not forget the offspring of Sam Nunn(D) who may well win Chambliss's Senate seat.
Both Georgia and South Carolina will be a shade of purple by 2020. Demographics are destiny.

I’m not worried about Carter. I’m more worried about Nunn if the R’s select a foot-in-mouth disease candidate.

The people of Georgia are in NO mood for “legacy” candidates with Daddy names attached to them. This is quite possibly the worst time in 100 years to try and run on someone else’s accomplishments.
I cannot, however, speak for the black community and for Atlanta. And that says a lot, but North Atlanta and the northern Atlanta suburbs are ground zero for freedom-loving Georgians and they won’t vote Dem right now for anything.
I don’t see it happening. Democrats are deluded.

I keep hearing about “Georgia turning purple”, but the fact is Romney beat Obama by an eight point margin in 2012, compared to a 5-point margin for McCain (keep in mind the military presence in GA on that).
