Unless Israel want's to govern Gaza, it probably doesn't make sense to retake it. Killing terrorists works, who knows, one day there may be a joint operation of some sort with Egypt, maybe serving as the anvil in the Sinai. But I doubt Egypt want's Gaza either. Obama would give it to the Brotherhood.
Iran and Hamas are ticked off about the ship load of weapons Israel bagged : )
