2014 Talkers Heavy Hundred!
(Excerpt) Read more at talkers.com ...
Woo Hoo...Armstrong and Getty were at 55. Glad they made the list. There show has been a morning joy for a long time now.
Herman Cain made it too.
Boy, doesn’t take much to get into the ones I’ve never heard of. Embarrassing to see that dolt Eddie Schultz in the top 10 for sure, but if he’s the best liberal talker it really sucks to be them.
It sucks that Larry Elder is #93.
Levin for Attorney General!
Or SCOTUS
Levin is the best.
Agreed. Worst guy ever to hear on the radio. I’ve never heard a bigger gasbag so full of himself, constantly extolling his degrees, and so little to say. Total turn off.
Where is Mark Levin on the list? He should have been at #2.
I just love the way he wants everybody to reach their full human potential. It is wonderfully inspirational.
The other great thing about him is all the charity work he does to fight leukemia and the money he raises for the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation. He’s always taking days off to attend some charity event.
The #2 or #3 on the list should be Mark Steyn, Rush’s frequent guest host. He is a real treat to listen to.
Is he the one who’s tagline is “You need a rabbi”?
Smerconish is #17...
/vomit
You are exactly correct..! Callers generally start out with “You are My Rabbi”, a bit like, “I am my kid’s mom”, I guess...?
Rabbi Daniel Lapin is originally from South Africa, but moved to England, so he speaks with an accent —now he lives in Seattle (avid yachtsman) with his wife and seven kids.
He is very polite, and speaks of politics, but gives much more life advice (marriage, salary, kids, business) derived from “Ancient Hebrew Wisdom”.
He is exactly the kind of Jew that is impossible not to love —loves America, freedom, decency, private profit and common sense.
His mission is to bring Christians and Jews together tightly and show that some high earning Jews are not politically insane.
He broadcasts only once per week, but I cannot feel right if I miss his broadcast (which is never).
Many callers call in from Asia, Europe —far from his standard broadcast area.
Agree 10,000%. Amazing that he didn't go to college, though now that is getting easier and easier for me to believe.
That man is so witty I think he thinks at a million mph..?
He constantly flabberghasts me --sharp as a tack.
Anyone but Steyn as a sub and I'd be disappointed, but with him I never am.
I love his show, too, for all the reasons you cited. You can download KSFO shows to your iPhone and listen them whenever you want. I frequently do that with the Morning Show when I take my walks. Great sound quality and you can fast forward through commercials — a double plus!
#6
this’is so much crap.
they list sykes in milwaukee but mark belling, often a fill-in for rush, isn’t even on the list and his ratings crush sykes.
after that i don’t know any of the top 6-20 except smerconish and ingraham only because smerconish is/was local and ingraham is hot
#65 is one of my favorites.
I think he’s been on Glenn Beck’s show. He is very entertaining and enlightening. Thanks for the link to his podcast!
Wow. I am not a huge fan of Hugh Hewitt (I used to really think he was a RINO), but he's nowhere to be seen.
And the omission of Dom Giordano in Philly is kinda puzzling. So is Buck Sexton, if it's not solely about ratings.
And I can think of one douchebazooka who's name I noticed that gambled his terrestrial radio job-and lost it-at being a Odinga ass kisser. He's in the top 20, and Andrew Wilkow isn't?
But the worst is the complete snub of Eric Harley & Gary McNamara , hosts of Red Eye Radio
To quote a radio legend, this list is "F--kin' ponderous, man..."
