Nah, I just truly hate cigarettes. That’s probably because they killed my mother. He could raise the price to $50 a pack and I wouldn’t cry about it. The fact that I’ll pay less taxes just makes it all the sweeter. I’m guessing you’re a cigarette smoker. You should quit if you are.
Well you liberal hack I do not smoke, but I am not a fascist liberal smoke nazi like you----get a life!
My condolences on the loss of your mother - I seriously doubt she raised you to be such an ugly person.
I don’t live in Ohio, so this should make no nevermind to me - however the concept of applauding the targeting of one group of people through taxation to benefit an entirely different group of people just goes against my grain.
“Nah, I just truly hate cigarettes.”

And I hate alcohol because of the damage it did to my family, but it wouldn’t occur to me to want it taxed just because I don’t like it.
We all hate something.

I am not a cigarette smoker, but I do enjoy good cigars. I smoke at my home, in my car or at a cigar lounge, or wherever I want without bothering anyone else. I don't blow smoke in my neighbors face.
However, I am sick and tired of the government taxing everything. In the same vein I don't drink coffee, however, I sure as hell don't think the government should raise higher taxes on it. I would not just sit back and say it does not affect me so it is not my concern. Overbearing government regulation and taxation IS everyone's concern.
If they put federal EPA related type use tax on toilet paper would it then bother you?
I've had 4 relatives die to lung cancer and they smoked. Each of them would've told you, because they told me many times in their final months of life, Cigarettes didn't kill them. They killed themselves by repeatedly doing something they knew was bad for their health.
By taxing e-cigs for no good reason he is making it more difficult for people to quit smoking the real ones, which are the real health problem. Trying to do this puts the lie to the fig leaf that “we’re taxing you for you’re own good.”
