If they raised the tax on alcohol to get us one step closer to eliminating the income tax, I would be fine with that too and I do like to drink occasionally. And while I do hate cigarettes and the misery they cause people, this is all about eliminating the Ohio state income tax to me. I am wise enough to know that there is no way to just end it with nothing but spending cuts. Aside from the fact that Kasich doesn't have near enough political power to make that happen, a radical move like that would end the Republicans in ohio for many years to come and it would probably hurt the state. One swing at a time, that's how this tree will come down.
