A West Virginia prison inmate has been accused of threatening President Barack Obama and his family via mailed letters.
Robert Dale Tasker, 43, is charged in an indictment with three counts of threatening Obama and one count of threatening the president's family. The alleged threats were mailed in December and February. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison on each count.

He is in for First Degree Murder. 5 years would probably double his sentence.

I concur. Matter of fact, just to augment your theory, he should have his sentence reduced for attempting to come to the aid of others.
