Greeley Barber Shop Refusing Customers That Smell Like Pot

A barber shop in Greeley refuses service to people who smell like marijuana.

The owner of Hugo’s Barber Shop said he felt he had to step in when it got bad.

“I feel that it’s my right to make the statement. It’s the same thing as no shoes no service,” said shop owner Hugo Corral.

When his customers, many of them with children, started expressing their frustration about the issue he decided it was time for a change.

“A mother calls and says hey we can’t go in there anymore because we don’t want it to smell like marijuana when my child’s sitting there waiting,” said Corral.

For the most part he said the response has been positive.

However not everyone sees it as a good move.

Corral said he’s been threatened with lawsuits and people trashing his window.

“People ripping the sign off, I’ve had to clean spit off my front door,” said Corral.

Despite the negative reaction from some, Corral said he’s going to keep the policy in place and says if people don’t like it they can go somewhere else.

According to a local attorney, Corral does have the right to refuse service to someone who has been smoking pot as long as it’s not a Constitutional issue involving a person’s race, religion or gender.

This violence has been common with potheads all my life.

They describe themselves as mellow in the same wa muslims describe themselves as peaceful.

Colorado has really gone down hill.

Even before legalization, I think Colorado Springs and Boulder had their share of hippies. But if some impaired motorist should cut down some hikers or cyclists? Hmmn.

Corral said he’s been threatened with lawsuits

Pot smokers now claim to be a politically protected class.

Maybe they shouldn't have taken to demonizing tobacco smokers...

“People ripping the sign off"

That's what the faggot army tried doing to Barney's sign in the 70s

Why would hippies ever want to enter a barber shop?

The only freedoms liberals really care about involves sex, drugs and general depravity.

And freedom from work and paying bills.

None of the non-biological genders matter.

They claim now that they are “fluid” identities that you can CHOOSE to be male one day, self-identify as a butch female the next day, self-identify as a straight cross-dresser the next day, etc.

IF you want to go to court to change your legal name, you can insist that people use your new name. But just demanding that they call you whatever you decide to be that day is entertaining insanity.

IF the courts are going to recognize “sex change” paperwork (even though the SCIENCE is unchanged, the DNA remains the same), then any claims to “gender” difference must be made in court and held to. None of this “fluid” BS.

The potheads will say that they only become violent when they are off their meds (which they claim they are not addicted to).

Their lawyers ask them to "clean up" before making a court appearance.

He hated his incarceration in Texas. It saved him from his crack cocaine addiction. His subsequent touring gave him good bread.
