PS. You a racis'!
Too bad whitey! You fend for yourselves!
Remember when liberals thought quotas were bad?
I suspect these classes will be easier than normal classes in other schools.
After all, it’s a business and non-Asian minorities aren’t scoring high enough to merit college admission. They gots ta do good or the AP/SAT tests will be banned.
“AP Potential”???? Really??? If you don’t want to take an AP class why should anyone put pressure on you? This silly notion that ‘only’ in AP classes will you learn anything useful is pushed by those who are clearly clueless.
“dictates”
Reminds me of joke with Buckwheat and Darla from long ago.
I believe this is contrary to the U.S. Constitution.
“they dont want white men in them.
Who are they? “
The same “they” that make every black woman in commercials have curly hair and look like they could be white.
“...they don’t want white men in them.”
I’ve noticed.
Seems to be a higher percentage of people of color in advertisements/commercials now days. Also noticed, many are the light-skinned, “clean” variety.
More power to the actors...work is work...a paycheck is a paycheck.
But, I hope the producers don’t think they’re fooling anybody, or will convince me to buy their products.
My grandaughter has been applying to,and been accepted to colleges for next fall.
I have looked at all the websites and you would think that 50% of all their students were black. They are always featured on the home page.
.
Last night, I put on the boob tube. First image, very attractive blonde woman wearing a low cut top. Appropriate. Turns out she is a detective. Her crime-fighting partner, looked non-white but I don’t know. Anyway, they described a murder scene and an image of a middle age black male was shown. I was surprised as I didn’t think that fit into the agenda of contemporary entertainment to show a black male killer. Alas, fear not, that image was of the murdered person, a hard working man who was slaughtered by a teenage boy with the blondest hair imaginable. How often do young blond males kill middle age black men and more so have hot women solve the case? I turned the channel and found something more suitable: a business channel even on Sunday night. Pop culture attempts to brainwash and the low-information voter is usually duped. Eventually, this theme, whether ads or shows, overtakes reality.
“Check the minority box, and get one extra AP point.”
(I can’t wait to get surgery from and fly on airliners designed by affirmative action hires.)
I went to the Boston Herald’s website today and shown immediately was a huge image of four children: three white girls and one black boy.
Subject matter is the donation of newspapers to help students. They didn’t have room for a white male? Why the need for three white girls?
Here is a smaller image:

Interesting...as most of our business comes from white people.
When I look at corporate websites and the "careers" tab, most of the time the "diversity" claim is made upfront with maybe one white guy standing in the background (sometimes there is no white man pictured, just different races and a white woman with glasses up front). Typically there are between 4-7 people in the images.
what could possibly be racist about that???
I tuned out 6 years ago. TV died and I never replaced it (I dropped cable years before that).
I rarely see television these days (except for sports programming which is on in a bar or restaurant, often with the sound off) but I do see it on occasion at a friend or relative’s.
The demographics are very apparent in advertising and programming. And in all of the Superbowl ads I saw for cars, they were driven by women. Take charge, stunt driving women. And the homelife in ads shows a lot of single mothers (although the cereal maker thinks it is cute and edgy to show a black father with a white mother in one ad). Since I’ve been a “rip van winkle” with regards to television, just when DID straight white men disappear from advertising?
Racist. You know the classes will b e dumbed-down. It is an illusion that they are in “AP” classes. What a bad joke on the kids and parents.
