Daylight Saving Time may have serious health implications for some, making it a difficult, even potentially dangerous change, CBS 2′s Kristine Johnson reported. It affects my sleep, my whole life schedule. I get crazy, said Shayla Edwards. Our body has a natural circadian rhythm which is almost an internal clock that regulates our 24-hour cycle. It regulates our sleep-wake cycle and that can be disturbed fairly easily, said neuro-psychiatrist Dr. Julia Samton.

When I was in the Air Force, I worked a different shift every day. I somehow managed to survive 20 years of it. Then I worked for Ca Dept of Corrections. Back to shift work all over again. I managed to survive 25 years of that too.
What I’m talking about is re-setting my circadia clock. I’ve got a bright light on a timer. I’m going to go set it up right now.
Never mind one hour, I feel sorry for the 17-Year circadas. Imagine how much of an adjustment THEY have to make...
;-)
Sounds like Shayla needs to apply for disability.
Good thing you don’t live near me. My family not only mows our grass during those times we also shoot guns, set off small explosive devices and ride dirt bike, sometimes all at the same time.
It helps us wind down and relax...
My old body rejected the concept and pretty well settled on daylight time. That has become my natural condition regardless of what the clock says.
Practice?
Can you ship some here?
Arizona gets along so well by never going on Daylight Saving Time. It’s always Standard Time here. During the summer, the sooner the sun sets, the better, IMO.
Then the big lumbering yellow bus pulls up and not until it comes to a complete stop do the scowling and pouting kids finally shuffle out of the mini-vans - in their flip-flops - eyes downcast upon their phones - and clamber onto the bus.
Doesn't matter if it's sunny and 75 degrees or dark and 10 degrees. It's the same sad routine each and every morning.
having trouble with daylghit savings? Move to Indiana or somewhere that doesn’t change their clocks, it’ll only get worse when you go somewhere out of state trying to figure out what the hell time it is.
False.
And I disagree with you! Done!
Educate yourself. Done!
No! Done!
I worked the graveyard shift right after I had graduated from high school. One of the old timers that had been doing it for years told me that it wasn't just the sleep that had to adjust but the whole body rhythm which included meals. Adjusting my meals helped a lot but it was still he!!.
I traveled to India a couple of years ago and that was the worst but manageable. I was able to adjust fairly quickly. I had traveled to Singapore a few times a few years back and that had conditioned me. It was as if there was a memory, a permanent shift, of the odd sleep patterns.
Id post the history...of daylight savings time but those who insist ...on its RIGHTNESS wont pay attention
its part of our Moderne Culture....like CNN...and “rap” videos/
Daylight savings time is the obamacare of modern “cultural” “institutions”...
I want aware that Indiana was “Daylight Savings Tine Free”...
thanks!
