He’s absolutely right, but it’s got to be bold POSITIVE colors. Nobody is going to be attracted by internicene GOP wars, and unfortunately, that’s the main thing Cruz has projected. I realize that the press has had a lot to do with this image, so he’s got to reach out and go beyond with a positive message.

Do you consider this negative:

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldn’t make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan

BTW, there is no solving the problem if you do not identify the problem. The GOP-E and those who compromise with our enemies are the problem. Reagan identified the problem both with the enemies outside and within the camp all the while projecting a positive message.

Ted is doing the exact same thing.

Those like Rand Paul who refuse to fight the enemy within the camp will never lead, they will fail, exactly because they refuse to diagnose the disease within our own group.

That problem has to be solved first, or at least simultaneously before we win any battles/wars from a conservative perspective.

Until the the problems of Crony Capitalism and the approach of working for the best interests of Big Corporate Donors instead of the Citizen's best interests is seriously defeated in the GOP, we are not going to win national elections. And solving these problems means identifying them, and the people engaged in them, first.
