Did you notice that Gov. Palin is beating everyone except the two front-runners (I don’t count Jebbie, that ain’t gonna happen) yet she is a “washed-up has been” or some such?

The two, Cruz and Paul, are neck-n-neck with everyone else in the weeds.

I believe Rand Paul is the better candidate.

Cruz is super intelligent but Rand is a much better communicator.

Is it true that Ted Cruz’s wife works for Goldman-Sachs?

My perfect pick for an American vendetta against Obama has stated that they are not running for President.

After I had already voted on the poll.

Rand’s stand is ambivalent. Cruz will bruise the queer, mightily.

CPAC tends to skew towards a younger crowd, and Rand was the only person to make a case against the NSA. I believe for that reason alone, he won the poll.

lol...this thread is typical. Both Cruz and Rand would be great choices and yet FReepers are already getting nasty about which one is great and which one is the devil. They’re both acceptable, IMO. Rand is a better communicator with the average person, especially the younger generations. Cruz has a brilliant mind. As a matter of fact, he would make a good SC justice.

I’d like to see and hear more from Gov. Scott Walker. I don’t think he was on the list, was he?

This is not even the first inning of the first game (Iowa or New Hampshire). No sweat, don’t fret. Remember when it was just understood that Rudy Guliani and Hillary would be the front runners. I still don’t understand how Rudy’s team did’nt know about the lack of support. Even with Hillary, no coronation, it’s not a done deal at all.

Lot of the usual nit-picking on this post. There is no candidate that could ever satisfy the “needs” of every FR. Romney would have been far better than the POS in the White House now but too many people wouldn’t vote because they hated Romney. I hated him as well but we’d be better off than we are now. Small steps to the right is more apt to happen than a giant leap. I’d like to see that giant leap myself but if it’s not there you ho with what’s better.
