Connecticut could become the first state to curb loud movies under proposed legislation thats drawing opposition from the Motion Picture Association of America.
The legislatures Public Safety and Security Committee is considering the bill, which would prevent theaters from showing a film or preview that exceeded 85 decibels. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health recommends noise should be kept below 85 decibels for workers for eight hours to minimize hearing loss.

I buy a ticket,someone takes it,we go to the proper screening room and never see an employee again.

I guess this is what all the “please silence your cell phones” nonsense during the previews is a set up for.

I admit, as I get older I seem to have less tolerance for loud noise. Not fun!
How about making the dialogue audible?
