If the rock-throwing illegals can’t kill or maim an agent(s) with a rock, the next-best thing would be to have them run away from them.

If they are standing on U.S. property as illegal aliens while hurling rocks at our law enforcement ... shoot 'em. If they are not standing on U.S. property ... return the rocks to them using your best fastball pitch. When dealing with a playground bully, running away is not an option. That will only make the beating you take another day worse. And, running away to tell the teacher only works while the teacher is bigger and stronger. It's not a helpful strategy when the bully is full grown.

Ramos and Compean paid a high price for violating Bush's "compassionate conservatism".

I checked on my about page and noted my New Years wishes for 2009. One was for Conrad Black to be returned to Canada from his American jail. The other was for the two border agents to be returned to their families. These wishes were granted and Conrad Black had to wait longer though.

I put a heartfelt "thanks" shortly after on my remarks and then did a bit of checking. It was George W Bush himself that pardoned the two men. I now have mixed feelings cos' I shouted a "God bless" to the world at the time. Now it seems W has to bear some blame according to some posts. Always liked this president.

I do pray these good men are now well and truly settled in their lives.

This entire administration is just one outrage after another! The system was meant for people with a sense of ethics, fair play, honor, morality...the founders never imagined people like the progressives. Accordingly they never put any safeguards into place to combat them. Even if we had a united Republican party against them I don’t know there is much we could do given what the progressives control.
