Ann Coulter at Saturday at CPAC on Saturday:
"I mean my whole life I've heard Republicans hate black people, I've never seen any evidence of it until I read Marco Rubio's amnesty bill. We are the party that has always stood up for African-Americans. Who gets hurt the most by amnesty, by continuing these immigration policies it is low-wage workers, it is hispanics, it is blacks."

Instead we got to watch a tedious diatribe by that fossil George Will.
The fact that this is called the Conservative Political Action Conference is a joke.
I agree Rubio doesn’t hate blacks. This is just a ploy to push back at the Democrats and RINOs pushing amnesty that will definitely hurt blacks and other minorities.
After Christie and Romney both? Forgiving is pushing it. Trusting her again? You’d have to be insane.
Anything she says has to be viewed in light of her actions.
I agree it will disproportionately hurt blacks and minorities. I don’t mind people saying that.
But Ann pulled a card from Jesse Jackson’s deck when she stupidly ties Rubio to hatred of blacks.
Maybe she’s still out trying to kill off possible competition for some Rino she has in mind. Her attack on Ted Cruz would suggest as much since Cruz does NOT support amnesty.
Just a week ago she attacked Ted Cruz.
She is not to be taken seriously. Do not trust. Verify everything.
Wow, it’s almost as if she used hyperbole to make a point!
So does Jesse Jackson....right?
I would too. There’s a one-minute collage of Ann’s remarks on youtube but I’d like to see the whole thing.
“Without hyperbole and hate, Ann would be cleaning toilets....and I did not say I support Rubio or amnesty.”
Without out a jump shot Jordan wouldn’t be in the NBA. Not sure where you are going with that?
5 or is it 6 best sellers? That takes talent.
If you and I were holding a discussion on the issue, I would bristle at the mention that Rubio "hates" blacks. But I have learned that the American public only responds to hammer blows.
Coulter knows that, too. Time to take off the gloves. Sorry.
So, hyperbole is...wrong?
I don’t do videos very well, so I look forward to seeing this in print. I’m not a big Ann fan, but this looks like something I’d like to read.
I view Coulter now like a view a few Freepers. They talk a good game, then when it gets rubber to the rode time, they back the very people fighting him tooth and nail in DC.
That’s what “Vote GOP no matter what” and “lesser evil. results in. That’s what Coulter’s 2 faced rino fetish results in. Perhaps we should stop empowering/supporting/excusing the people wrecking our country and screwing the people working for what conservatives want.
Oh on the lesser evil thing... To Rand’s credit he addressed that. I wonder if he will get the hate for it some of us did for the last year. Because the same people thinking he’s great slammed us for the exact same words he used.
What’s wrong is the lying attack on Rubio. This is in the context of Coulter’s MO. Her attacks are targeted. She targeted Ted Cruz last week.
Find who is her current heart throb, and you’ll understand this attack on Rubio.
Hyperbole? Sure. Fine. Just don’t trust her. Verify everything. Expect a hidden agenda.
I agree. Not to be trusted. Underneath all that blather is an establishment rino.
Same goes for several of the worshiped talkers/writers as well. But people need their heros. So we repeat the same elections year after year.
Instead of voting our beliefs and MAYBE breaking the cycle. But we never will break it until WE change.
The difference between Ann and many other pundits is, she is very smart and relies on her own analysis rather than just repeating memes. She’s a lawyer and has been trained to think and analyze, and her books and speeches reflect her own views.
I know many FReepers just can’t deal with ideas that don’t resonate with every single conservative thought or idea. Ann falls off their wagon at times, and she makes some controversial comments and endorsements perhaps to bolster her brand and sell books, but overall she’s one of the sharper intelligences on the right.
Also, she broke with Christie over amnesty, as she has said many time, and favored Romney because he was so strongly against it.
She full throatedly backed some of the most liberal repubs ever. That’s a pretty long fall from a pretty tall wagon. Done of her own free will.
