When someone is supposed to be in a psychiatric ward with electrodes on maximum voltage, but you take them out and say they’re okay and take a knife to their genitals, why is it surprising these people kill themselves?
They try to spin it as other people make them want to kill themselves, but the truth is that anyone who hates their genitals enough to remove or alter them hates themselves more than anyone else possibly could.
Good question. What is it that puts mentally ill people at high risk for suicide and other manifestations of mental illness?
Statistical swings can be expected when comparing such a small population group to such a large one.
I think we should be helping these folks become more successful in fulfilling their desires to become better at suicide.

Our government promotes this instead of offering help for these confused people. Shameful.
They need to do a study of how many of them were introduced to homosexual study when young. And then prosecute the perpetrators.
They are just being true to themselves.
Respondents to a survey say that 41% of them attempted suicide. Wonder then how many were successful and were in no position to answer the survey. Really don’t hear of late middle age or elderly transgenders. Do they die out?
I wonder what the success rate is... are they both crazy and inept?
My best friend had a neighbor who was renting the lower floor of a two story house. He/she was a transgender working towards a compete reconfiguration to a female. “She†was not very stable psychologically and tried to commit suicide at least three times while she was living there. The last time was nearly fatal and “she†was taken to the state mental health facility for observation and assessment. I’ve no idea what happened to her, but she never returned. from my readings, it appears that deep seated psychological problems are common with the transgender crowd.
Telling a man that he is a woman because he believes it to be so is akin to giving a sword and a funny hat to a man that believes that he is Napoleon and telling him that if he invades Russia he’ll feel better about himself.

Borderline Personality Disorder DSM IV Criteria:
A pervasive pattern of instability of interpersonal relationships, self-image, and affects, and marked impulsivity beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:
1. frantic efforts to avoid real or imagined abandonment. Note: Do not include suicidal or self-mutilating behavior covered in Criterion 5.
2. a pattern of unstable and intense interpersonal relationships characterized by alternating between extremes of idealization and devaluation.
3. identity disturbance: markedly and persistently unstable self-image or sense of self.
4. impulsivity in at least two areas that are potentially self-damaging (e.g., spending, sex, substance abuse, reckless driving, binge eating). Note: Do not include suicidal or self-mutilating behavior covered in Criterion 5.
5. recurrent suicidal behavior, gestures, or threats, or self-mutilating behavior
6. affective instability due to a marked reactivity of mood (e.g., intense episodic dysphoria, irritability, or anxiety usually lasting a few hours and only rarely more than a few days).
7. chronic feelings of emptiness
8. inappropriate, intense anger or difficulty controlling anger (e.g., frequent displays of temper, constant anger, recurrent physical fights)
9. transient, stress-related paranoid ideation or severe dissociative symptoms

Being “transgendered” is prima facie proof of a screwed up life. It’s no wonder they are attempting suicide.
It is not a surprised these poor unfortunate people are mentally ill.
