WASHINGTON -- Members of the huge millennial generation are less religious, less likely to call themselves “patriotic” and significantly more‎ liberal than older generations, new research shows.

Although adults aged 18-33 are much more likely to call themselves political independents than their elders are, they are also far more likely to vote Democratic. Their views favoring activist government, as well as their stands on social issues such as gay rights, reinforce that voting behavior, an extensive study by the Pew Research Center shows.

Gee if your mommy and daddy agree with you, who gives a flip what your parents think.

Were your parents a part of the 46% of the under 30 vote the democrats won in 1972? Are they among the 9.4 million veterans, or the ones who made Vietnam a war fought by volunteers instead of draftees, WWII was fought by draftees, or were they among the boomers who made the under 30s the most supportive generation of the Vietnam war?

Anyone who blames state legislation of the 1960s and then Roe v Wade, on kids who couldn’t even vote is just stupid.

You want to defend a generation that voted 66% for Obama, by going after a generation that supported the Vietnam war and was voting republican?

I’m sure it is.

But it’s not really for me, I do not have the temperament to raise a child in this country.

Good luck to you as well, sir.

I thought Millenials have totally rejected Obamacare. This poll smells. Plus 40 years ago, polls of young people were less religious yet those same young people turned out to be more religious over time.
