I just came across on my bookshelf last night Richard Nixon’s book “The Real War”. Written a year before Reagan was elected; on how to fight the Soviets.

I think I will read it again. VERY similar circumstances as back then with an economy in shambles, poor American moral, a weakened military, etc.

Excerpt:

“Having dealt directly and at great length with the leaders of the Soviet Union I know that they exploit weakness but rspect strength. If they see a new strength in the American sinew....they will be more cautious in their adventuring, and they will be more realistic in their negotiating. If they think they can roll us, they will try to roll us.”

Reagan had their number. The Russinas respected America then, because of strength. The Russians obviously have no respect for the Obama poofter puppy approach, which really hurts the West abroad, and hurts the world peace.

The USA needs to “speak softly and carry a big stick.”

Obama does not speak softly, he continuously campaigns like a raving lunatic.

Obama does not carry a big stick, and so has no way to
back up his lunatic ravings on the messianic international order which does not exist except in Obama’s mind.

You want to see what happens to an unarmed nation? Look at Tibet in 1948/1949, and later in 1957. It was annexed, invaded and now the Tibetan people are being bred out of existance. Thats the real world which Obama’s poofter puppy policy ignores.
